These are so lovely, Kim.........perfect for little ladies!!
These look so fun, cute, and well done! Love them!--Nice job all around.
ah, these are just too cute, the girls will be thrilled
O.K. These are wonderful!! Did you serge the fabric for the bottom ruffle and then use a ruffler foot to attach to the skirt? I love your idea of the white front panel with an added embroidery design. Were you able to make the skirt with a yard of fabric? And the yellow ribbon is the icing on the cake. Great work.
Thank you...yes, I serged the edges of the ruffle fabric with a rolled hem, then attached it with a ruffling foot that gathers the ruffle while keeping the bottom skirt flat. Then added the ribbon with a twin needle that stitches both sides of the ribbon...I also reduced the density by about 40% when I digitized it because I was stitching it out on a cotton blend seersucker fabric.
Oh, the skirts are both very beautiful and I'm sure that the girls will love them.
These are adorable skirts... Twirly skirts! Girls will love these!
The girls will love these. I have that design and have never used it. I think I will be using it soon.
Thank you, Sarah...You may have a similar design...the one I had was riddled with unnecessary jumps (really disappointed me) so I digitized my own with a Florentine fill for the flowers and leaves so the weave follows the curve of the petals...I also reduced the density by about 40% because I was using a cotton blend seersucker fabric...
Terrific! Great job on matching flower with fabric. They will love these Auntie /Lillian
WOW! Kim, these are adorable and I can just envision your great-nieces twirling around in them. You are so good to make all of these for them. Love Chris
How clever are you love the seersucker panel for the embroidery.

So so cute. I can see them twirling those adorable skirts
