My friend's son picked her air erasable marker pen and used it do do his school homework. Of course, the next morning it had disappeared so she had to write him a letter of explanation to take to school.

I don't think he will borrow it again!
I'm sure this will bring out lots of stories from the teachers among you. "The dog ate my homework" is so passé!

What a ripper story. I won't tell my GD's this one. One of them is always looking for an excuse to get out of homework...
Great laugh for the day.

That is just too funny. I wonder if there is anything one can do to bring back the markings?!?!?

And the moral of this story is, never, ever, ever take something from a sewing room without permission!

funny for us to read this, but not funny for the boy...Hope the teacher believes the story and doesn't see it as an excuse for not delivering the homework....

My husband used my erasable marker pen a few years ago to label his bottles of fish hooks etc & had a hide to complain that all his labels had become blank. It was a hot Feb humid day & I had been using it mark eyes on a applique to hand sew in satin stitch & it was fading before my eyes.Typical man couldn't find his pen ,so he went up stairs to raid the sewing room.Still LOL.

I couldn't help but laugh. I'm sure the look on his face when he realized all of his hard work had disappeared was priceless. This is one life lesson I hope never gets repeated.

Now that's a story that will get repeated over and over and get better and better as it is repeated over the years. One of life's easier lessons.

Well I think if kids read this one they will just use the excuse and just not do it. Funny huh

I couldn't help but laugh at this young mans accident. I wonder if the teacher really believed the story.

Probably not! Easy for him to demonstrate though.

Love this one Sue. I never use those pens. Having years ago cut something out and marked darts, seams etc. next day all the markings were gone. Much rather use the water erasable ones.

At least he didn't use her sewing scissors to cut out things for a collage.
