Beautiful and I want to thank you for doing something for such a worthy cause.
Very CUTE, I made a few last year. It was a project our Quilt guild did. We all made some. Can also add big buttons, Velcro, zippers, they would fit over their laps so as to not get caught in wheel chairs. Hope these suggestions help. Of course can add just about anything - but they do have to go thru the washing. Have fun
This is a great idea. You are so sweet to do this and you did it very well
First, I want to thank you for posting this picture..
My Dear sweet sister-in-law is in an Alzheimer home.
I am in the process of planning (didn't know what to call it) quilt. You have given me so many ideas I had not considered.. Bless You for your sharing..and gift to the care facility..
Thank you. I used many soft, silky fabrics and ribbons. I am told that the patients like to stroke the fabrics and it can bring them calmness. Blessings to you and your sister-in-law. Hugs.
Thank you for the extra information and tips. We have notice that my SIL will finger pleat a piece of fabric edge, so I wanted to be sure to have a long piece along one edge for her to pleat and straighten out.. You are a Blessing to many
What a wonderful bright little quilt. I can see someone loving it. Very thoughtful idea.
I am very impressed, what a great sensory quilt for people to feel and talk about. Well done on the digitising too. Love Chris
