Your owl is so cute. I missed this when I was on holiday last month. I have joined our local janome embroidery club and finding new things to learn each time I go.
Very nice and those of us who wear glasses really appreciate the cute look!
My favorite holder by far. This one is sure a winner. Love how the scissor finger holes fit for the glasses. So very cute. Lucky sewing group!
I agree.... I also think this is my favorite holder. You did a wonderful; job. I've yet to do fringe either.....so this would be a great test. I know the ladies at the club will love it. Send us pic's of everyone's holder together after they finished so we can see these wonderful owl holder. I also agree with everyone that you are a wonderful digitizer/embroidierer. Keep up the good work.
He looks so Awesome!!!!Stunning design and work Sue...Well done..My favourite
He's 'owl'so cute! His fringe is super nice. Reminds me of when the ladies had those dresses doing the 'Charleston' dances!
I've only done the fringe once, with a cheerleader's pom poms, on a tote for Avery. The hardest part is getting over the fear, of cutting the bobbin thread-lol Great job!-Toogie
Oh my gosh !! My favourites-- a purple owl !!! Your ladies are very lucky !!! Never tried fringe before but looks great on the this!! Perfect!!
Wow, beautiful design. It must be a really fun club to be part of.
No wonder everyone is so excited -what a fantastic project this is. Well done, Sue :)
it's great. Like Chris, I haven't tried fringe-work, but would like to try.
I'm like Carolyn. I do believe this is my favorite of any I have ever seen. I've never been brave enough to try the fringe either. I would love to learn how. You are absolutely SUE-per in my book. Love how you are teaching these ladies and loving doing it/Lillian
You did good. Great scissor holder and the fringe is perfect.
Ooh! this is just 'owlsome' Sue. I love the addition of the fringe - I have never been game enough to try it and I know Veronika put up a flower on here years ago to try, but I still don't think I can do it. The way your scissors frame the eyes is just fabulous. You are a very clever digitiser/embroiderer and your Janome Club ladies are very lucky to have you to help them. Well done, love Chris
It isn't difficult - the fringe designs on this site are lovely and well worth trying out.
When are you looking for new members for your club? I might be a bit far away in New Zealand to join.. Would love to be able to purchase this design ,, our group has a challenge out at the moment it is to create a finished something in crazy patch and to incorporate machine embroidery on it . I can see possibilities for this owl . Lovely work .
It is perhaps a bit far to come to meetings! You would be most welcome though.
I love her. I am ready to join your club. lol I have never tried the fringe before so I think it is great to do it in the club where you can get help. You did a wonderful job on this design. Very nice of you to share your skills with your club.

Excellent job:):)
This certainly is an unique project. The use of fringe really adds interest to the owl. Fantastic!
Your owl is very cute; his eyes are nicely framed by the scissors. I love the fringe, it looks as if it's hand-knotted. Nice work!!
Your J-club ladies are spoiled by having their own digitiser on hand. I bet they keep you on your toes!
This is adorable and would make a great gift for my charity sewing group of friends. Is this design available for purchase?
