Very nice and so beautiful loved your bag .Loved the pockets and your label on it. amazing!!!!!
Thank you Stella, I like a lot of pockets. My librarian suggested me adding my names to the bags, she said, for a more professional look.
Another beautiful bag and love the fabric's by the way. Great set with the ck bk and wallet.
Thanks Patti, I made the purse first and showed the fabric here that I could use to make the checkbook wallet, which I made later. Glad you like them. How's your daughter?
Mgregg01 I didn't have a pattern just cut two 14 x 17 inch for front and back-
Wow Toogie, I love your bag harmony of colors and so many pockets with your label : congratulations!!! Thank you very much for sharing your work.

I'm glad you like my project. I do like to make bags, baby clothes, most things at least once.
I love the bag Toogie. I would carry it with pride.
Everything is beautiful: the bag, tissues and especially the applique flower. Great job.
Oh Toogie, the bag has become super. The colors are great and the best I like that the bag has soooo many small pockets and your name tag on the inside is a wonderful idea.
Hugs, Angelika
Thanks Angelika, I like to make my own purses, so I can make as many pockets as I like.
This is a great bag and where the zip is located is simply preference. I'm left handed- send it to me!
My hubby is left handed too! I thought since he has been carrying my purse, I'd make one with a wooden handle, so he didn't have to fight with shoulder straps. He wads them up in his hand. My hands are holding onto my walker.....Don't you think he would look good carrying a red handbag?-lol
He says left handed people are smarter.......
Love your bag. Great with all those pockets. You do such great work
this is a great bag Toogie & I like the additional 3D flower, As for the zipper pull if it really bothers you can you change it without too much trouble? If not you will get used to it. I think it looks terrific as it is. ~hugs~
Removing the flower and re tacking it by hand, would solve the zipper issue, because front and back are the same. No bottom seam, just quilted one large piece. Thanks for looking-Toogie
Toogie, you did a fabulous job!!!! Love the fabrics, love the color combination, love all those pockets. Excellent work!
Pockets are exactly why I like to make my own purse. I like to reach in and pull out what I'm after. Now my sister on the other hand, likes a huge, (bottomless-lol) bag and root around for what she wants, not me.
Wow Toogie, I love this new bag; I wish I had your talent. Great success. Bravo! ( I hope my English is good...)
Have a nice day
Hugs, Céline
Whatever your other regret is it is not visible to me, unless it would be some sort to closure to hold the bag shut. I think it is a lovely bag and one that I would be proud to carry.
I do have a zipper closure and that's the other regret. Do you see the zipper pull? I usually put it on the left side, when you're facing the front of the bag. I wasn't pay attention. I would just have to rip off the machine tack down, of the flower, and resew flower,on the opposite side as both sides are the same. Just rip flower off and then hand sew. Flower is made separately like 3D.
I didn't see the zipper pull so I'm sure no one is going to think that it is on the wrong side. We are always more critical of our own work than others are.
Really nice job Toogie. This bag look perfect to me.... we don't look for wrong things here.. :) I haven't tried applique yet.. have plenty of designs, but just haven't got the nerve up to try one. You inspire me. I really like the bag.. and great find on the handles. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work. Mechille :)
I have always loved applique. This is done differently because I did each flower applique, on water soluble stabilizer. I then attached them together with a Kam snap head. I machine tacked them on the purse front, before I put the purse together....You should try applique, its not hard.Thanks-Toogie
BEAUTIFUL bag, great job, love the colors
hugs
Michelle
What a stunning looking bag Toogie, I love it! I love the idea of a key loop on the inside of the bag I'm always fishing for my car keys in the bottom of my bag and of course I always have a black and white bag and can never find them.
With regard to your other regret the only thing I can think of is that you only have two pockets on one side and 3 on the other! Still, it's a super bag. I love your flower Applique too it's just gorgeous. Love Chris
The pockets I purposely made that way, for different items, to fit. They are the same size, just divided differently.
It's the zipper. Read what I said in queenofhearts comment.Glad you like it.
What a lovely bag Toogie, you are always trying out something new. Love the bag with lots of pockets inside. ;-)
I have to have pockets so I do them, in case others are like me. Not sure if I'll keep this one. If I do, see the extra fabric, a wallet will follow....might be a good reason NOT to keep it-lol
Toggie, a lovely bag . The appliqué flower really sets it off, great colour combination. Well done. Sandra.
Sandra the fourth of July will be here before we know it!-lol-red, white and blue. I think it would have been rather plain without the flower, too. Thanks for commenting-Toogie
A lovely bag! I like the fabric, your quilting and your use of the applique flower. Those handles were a bargain. Did you buy more than one pair? Excellent work.
lol-Mops you know me, I bought them all, but it was only 3 or 4. The fabric was a piece I bought, quiet a while ago. I had everything in my 'stash'. I think the applique flower came out great. This is why I asked you about how it was done. I thought I had the correct concept. Thanks-Toogie
