Gorgeous designs, Kim! I would like to be able to purchase them from anywhere. Great job! Hugs, Joyce
Love these designs and that there are no jumps. Would buy in a heartbeat.
Thanks, Arlene...so many times I have gotten line work designs (redwork designs) and they are riddled with unnecessary jumps...it is really disappointing as you can't tell until you buy the designs....
Beautiful!!!Looking forward to seeing them at Sick
Kim these are such lovely designs I would buy them in a heartbeat wherever you have them posted.
I can understand about the delayed payment issue. I am still awaiting for payment for a lot of work I did in a bridal shop 6 months ago. I had to resign due to not getting paid as I could not keep working for nothing while paying out for petrol and childcare fees. I have had to resort to assistance from government department to try and get what is owed. I don't think I would have taken on the job had I known all the headaches it would cause.
Good luck with your decision. It is a tough one. DBS definitely needs some quality designs as i have found there is less and less these days that I like from there. If it keeps up I guess it wont be good for his business and ultimately Shawn and the customers will suffer in the long term.
I would love to know what you decide so I can keep my eyes open to purchase your beautiful designs
hugs Karryn
That is a tough decision. However, if you put them up at Sick it would show two things. One would be that when you comment on the "not so great digitizing", you know what you are talking about. Second, you could set the bar for what digitizers should be doing, making any other sets you decide to sell top sellers. The other option, open your own website and sell directly (I don't know what's involved in that). Best wishes in making this decision.
Thanks for your comments....however, one does not have to be a digitizer to understand when designs are digitized well...much is discovered in the actual stitch-out...
sweet little designs Kim ,Im sure they would sell well .perfect for a quick project ,I have been doing some redwork designs to put into quilts for charity
Your designs are lovely Kim, I'm sure they would do well. I love that there are no jumps! I would hesitate since the payment seems to be, at the very least, slow. What guarantee would you have that you would get paid?
Payment is slow in my case, but the fact that some digitisers are sending in designs on a regular basis is reassuring.
Such dainty work Kim. I can't believe that Martine has not been paid for her work yet. I'd be a bit wary. Hope you do what you think is right. I'd have them for the Holly design alone!!!!!!
Love Chris
Thanks, Chris...I am a even more leery since Martine has not been paid yet...also, check your e-mail :)
You should be so proud of yourself! Whoo hoo! I look forward to hear what you do do.
You have done a beautiful job with these. I love them. I say take Martine,s advice. She would never steer you wrong./Lillian
I agree...but only problem is she hasn't been paid yet!!! Over a month later...and Sick says he pays within 7 days after acceptance...Makes one wonder if and when he will actually pay!!!
I forgot to say all of us here at cute would vote for you lol hugs
The designs are beautiful, they would be very popular.
i have sold one set to Sick; it took a while to get to the top of the vote, but eventually it. A non-seasonal name might have been wiser - the word Valentine in the title was not the cleverest choice. Stil awaiting payment.
If you offer them in two sizes, split them in two sets. Have a look at the latest designs - if there are more formats the number of the designs is lower. Doubles the payment.
If I put them up I plan to put them up in two sets...Hmmm, not a good sign that you have not been paid yet...your set was up and was selected and put up for sale a month ago...April 22....that is certainly not a good sign...have you contacted Sick?
Not yet. I can receive emails on my Dutch account, but can not send them from Norway. I'll have to wait till I am home again.
These look great, submit them they would be very popular
Dragonflyer, i would love to see them at DBS!
Beautiful!
They are really lovely. I'm sure they would be popular.
Terrific job with these, Kim.......I had thought about that too at one time, but it does seem like a lot of work, but for someone that doesn't have their own website, it might be worth it......
Thanks, Vicki...it might be worth it...leery that Martine has not been paid yet though...
I love these! I'd jump at the chance to get them. Put 'em up on DBS and get started on your next set. We need people like you to raise the bar over there!
