Kim, they are absolutely gorgeous!!!
Chris told me about them and now I know why she was so chuffed!
I would love to make a full set of these for the Christmas table, along with Lee's Holly napkin rings, it would look so lovely.
I love Christmastime for all the beautiful reds and greens, you could place the gold trimmed ones on coffee tables etc. for decorations, well I would anyway.
Well done Kim!!! hugs n roses, Meganne
You have done a great job, they are stunning!
I hit submit instead of return, stll half asleep :)
Seeing those violets gave me the same idea, so during my vacation I too digitized some flowers which I have yet to test. Doing ITH designs there's always the dilemma, quilt through and do an satin stitch outline or stitch the outline and turn them.
These pointy leaves would be hard to turn and the gold satin stitch gives them that little extra.
Again: great job!
Thanks, Martine...I know what you mean...I am not really a huge fan of a satin finished border...but these would be almost impossible to turn and look well. I have a few more I need to test as well...
You've done it again, an outstanding design! They would look lovely scattered on surfaces all through the house for a holiday party with no worry of rings left from glassware. I love how the points are so neat, with no stray threads or fibers sticking out. How do you do it?
Thanks so much..These are "finished" around the satin border with a hot stencil cutter tool that I run along the edges...it smooths away any "pokies" that might be left over from stabilizers...It allows me to use a tear-away sometimes instead of a WSS
Thanks Kim. There is always so much more to learn about the art of machine embroidery.
Oh, WOW!! These are so nice. I could see adding a ribbon and tying it to a wreath or package. Sure wish I had your talent!
Oh dear! Now I'm feeling guilty about not starting on my Christmas gifts. This is a great project! I can envision a lot of uses for this besides being a coaster. Would be nice attached attached to a placemat, or a decoration on a package, or attached together to make a mantal decoration. Nicely done!
Another beautiful design Kim. I love the quilted leaves and the gold rim on them, plus the red berries. Really festive. Getting ready for Christmas, yikes !!!!
These are simply gorgeous! I love holly and poinsettias for the holidays. I don't know which I like more.... the daisies or the hollies... hmmmm... love them both!
Love with the gold and prefect on both sides, beautiful work! Sandy
There a beautiful! I love that they are quilted too! You have been staying busy! I know you don't like to sell your designs but you really could open up your own shop!
Thanks, Roxanne...I'm still on the fence about selling my designs...seems like it could be a hassle at times....
I do agree with Roxanne, your designs are always well done. Love making them.
These are wonderful. I especially like the little bit of gold in the green fabric and the gold metallic edge really sets it off.
Thanks...had a bit of scrap material left and thought it would be good for a test!
All I can say is wow. I love your designs, you are very talented.
I imagine these will be the talk of the table at Christmas time

Love them and would love to sew them out hugs
I love these and the gold is my favorite. Your work is beautiful. I have some poinsettia place mats to go with these.
Beautiful! They would look lovely with Chris' table runners. One again a score for you. lol I like both but my favorite is the metallic gold trim.
OOH! KIM, these are just G O R G E O U S!!!!!!! I absolutely love them. They would look just perfect on my table setting this year for my annual ladies Christmas luncheon. You are amazing. Love Chris
I too love both, but the gold trimmed a little more. You are so creative.
And another WOW, wish I could digitize like you ( I can't at all but it would be nice 😉) My favourite is the also the one with the gold and i loooove how they look from the back!
Wow.love these, it will really brighten Chris's gathering.
Oh Miss Dragonflyer, these are gorgeous! I think I like the gold trimmed ones also. These would also be perfect as compliment to a wreathe or ever made into a wreathe.
