hi I have PE design 7 and I downloaded PE design 10 trial version and now when ever I try to open a pattern it says unexpected file format and wont open ....and it keeps asking me to open PE desin 10 which I have deleted but a part of the programme is still on my computer and I cant find it .....are there any suggestions ....I have tried to re download PE 10 but it wont let me ...im pulling my hair out ....PLEASE HELP ..thanking you Denise

Your "file association" has been changed by PE 10. You can change it back. Do a Google search with "file association change" (not changer) and select one of the results from Microsoft.
You might be able to right click the file and select "Open With" and then "Select default program" (or words similar) and choose PE design 7
