She picked them up today and liked the one on the left the best. She left me fabric to do another one for another quilt. I will post it later. Kay
Like both of them. I guess depends on the person getting the label whether or not they want bold or line written style. Both work and can read them both. I think you've done a great job creating these.
Cute labels! Emb Library has a bunch of labels as well. I tend to make up my own using mini designs from whereever that go with the quilt in some way. Mine can get pretty big though....depending on what info I want there. The nice thing about embroidered labels is that they don't fade with the wash. You are a good friend to do this for your friend!
I can read the right one better, but you have done an excellent job, on both.
Dakota and Anita Goodesign both have sets of labels.
I make up my own labels design, the finish size is quite large since so much information is requested . Looks like she just wants something very simple , explain if you go too small the font becomes illegible.
Great job!

Lovely frames...Pity-they are all vip files and my program won't convert to pes :(
Thanks for the link. I usually make my own labels when requested but these may be perfect for someone that just wants to pen a note themselves.
what is the size of the labels, does the name come with it?
The original size is app 6 in x 4 in and I made them smaller. You add your own text. The back is a piece of no show mesh. You add the mesh last and turn the label inside out after making a slit in the mesh.
thanks for the tip. I had always just sewn the labels and turned the edges in and sewed them on. Your way is easier with nicer results. Thank you!
