Have you ever seen anything as disgusting as this table cloth well I was so upset when I finished it I threw it at the back of the cupboard, found it again and decided to unpick it took off all the 3d flowers and charms and had a great idea to make some small childrens bags (second picture) these will be donated to the Christmas shoe box Charity drive I am much happier with the bags.

I like your crazy quilt table cover, and love the little purses that you made from it. Nice that you could take something you didn't like (that was a lot of great work) and make something to love.

I agree it is a very nice crazy quilt, however as it put you in such a bad mood as that....then a wonderful mood to make those lovely lovely purses.... You definitely made a wonderful save. Plus a very good idea for all of us with so many scraps.. Thanks for sharing.

The bags are darling and you have material for many more. The table cloth was a bit busy but why not make some placemats out of what you have left?

I really like the quilt, but understand that sometimes we personally just don't like how things turn out. Nice upscaling project you made with it! Little bags are sweet and a good project for making good use of the quilt.

The bags are beautiful. A table runner may have been possible. When I make a crazy quilt I put sashing between the blocks or it gets very busy. I love how you reused the quilt.

Gosh thank you I never thought about the sashing I was told by a quilting teacher that one should not see the blocks??? Never achieved that

I like the quilt. It has a lot of colors in it. Since you didn't like it, though, I am glad you found a use for it. The bags are great. Hugs, Gail

I agree with Sue, the quilt has so much work involved in it. You've done an excellent job in reusing the quilt and making the little bags for such a wonderful charitable cause. Love Chris
