Wall hanging - the brief was "a sketchbook quilt with the theme of my favourite colour". (It isn't the strange shape it looks, I don't think I had the camera anything like level!)

The piecing was done in the hoop along with the text, but I added the straight line quilting as an afterthought.

I think that your photography and your wall hanging is just perfect, Sue. I've just double-checked the pics I took of the items for my Hospice project and am so concerned that I shall have to do some more snapping. Still, you know what they say.............."Old photographers never die, they just go out of focus and fade away." I do really like your colour combination...............vibrant, fresh.

Oh Sue I love this! It reminds me of a flight, when we landed in Belgium. Only the rows were on a hill side and looked curved. I think I will never forget how beautiful it looked! Thanks for the memory.-Toogie

These might have been curved, but couldn't have been done strip and flip!

I like this. Looks like a lush green field with different growing patches. Green never was my favorite color but everything I do has green in it. Go figure....

Beautiful, I can see the fields. The quilting made a big impact on the piece. How big is the quilt?

I also can envision a large bedside quilt that looks like this. It would be gorgeous/Lillian

Dear Sue, that is really wonderful! I love all the greens and think of
"Green, green grass of home" (Tom Jones). What a great idea to do the writing tone in tone. Perfect! Wishing a lovely summer- Maria

Not really a lot of work, the machine did most of it. If only I could teach it to do binding.......
