I,mmmmm. Baaaaccckkkk! Finally getting things straightened out. Son n law working on it as I sit here. Had to have a new router(whatever that is?). Anyway he bought one and is in process of getting it set up. Only problem I see is have to have new password for tablets etc. Joy joy joy! Ron had a hemorrhage in rt eye r/t the blood thinners, he also quit breathing on me last Thur night but dr says sleep apnea and he doesn't want to have to put him in Hosp for test to get cpap.

Glad to see you back. Hope you can get some help to get Ron assessed at home for a CPAT machine - it would help to make things a little less stressful for you both and, with all you are doing, you don't want to be afraid to sleep yourself because Ron might have another sleep apnea event when you are not watching. Remember to keep taking good care of yourself as well as your DH and don't hesitate to grab any useful help that comes your way. God bless.

Thank you. Home Health recertified him yesterday so now he is going to get PT twice a week , bath from them twice a week( I do days they do not come) nurse once a week and all this will last 6 weeks. I take any help I can, meantime they are looking into the C-Pap issue for me. Hugs/Lillian

Welcome home! Hurray for children and grandchildren who are able keep us connected with the world. Ohhh, scary to see Ron hemorrhaging from the blood thinners. Thank goodness you knew what to do when he stopped breathing. Google for sleep studies in your area. I'm sure you will find at least one. My husband has had 3 sleep studies done. All were at a facility not connected to a hospital, But I agree that in Ron's case a home sleep study would be better. Please keep us informed on how you and Rob are doing.

Glad you are back Miss Lillian and that Ron is also. How scary for you when Ron stopped breathing. I hope his eye is healing well now. I think it would be great to have the cpap machine at home, please check it out. Love Chris

Glad you are back. Great to have a son in law that knows all about this stuff. You scared the daylight out of me when I read that Ron quit breathing on you till I saw Dr. comment. Hopefully they can do the study at home. I am keeping both of you in my prayers.

Dr never said a word about doing the study at home. Told me to stay by his side at night, which I do anyway, we have twin beds and I'm right beside him. Dr said shake , wake him any way I could. That is what I did but it really did give me a scare

I can empathize with the sleep apnea and highly recommend an at home sleep study.

Don't know why Dr did not mention in home study unless maybe Medicare will not cover it. Am going to try and find out something about it
