It is beautiful and no one else will have one like it. Love the pansies
Do not regret the time you spent to make this bag. This is a superb result. Excellent work and very beautiful assorted colors .
Teresa--I love your purse. Those pansies are beautiful. I can appreciate all the hard work that goes in to making most things--Ha! think I've tried most things at least once. I also know how hard you've worked and then find those thick areas where 'the big gun tools' need to come into play. Pliers aren't just for the boys! Be proud of your purse--you have a designer original and lady, it is gorgeous!
Very excellent colour bag aubsolute very nice love the pansies on it great job thanks for sharing
Thank you for all the kind words about my bag. When it comes from people who understand the effort it is even more meaningful. Teresa.
It was well worth the effort. It turned out great
Don't give up, that is really nice and the next one and all after that will be easier as you will incorporate shortcuts and new features. I do this all the time with my tote-bags and the ones now are so much nicer than the ones I did in the beginning. Thanks for sharing.
I won't give up on making bags.I just will never make this one again. If someone were to ask for one like it the answer would be no because of the time involved. This is going to be one of a kind. I will probably make some accessories to go with it but they will not be as fancy. I have an idea for a matching coin purse that will use the pansy pattern. That will be my next project.
You should be very proud of what you have achieved, it is simply stunning work and well with the effort. You have a one of a kind and the choice of colours and materials are so vibrant, it is first class. Just my perfect colours. Sandra.
Thank you. I have made quite a few bags for myself, for gifts and for customers and this is by far my favorite.
What a tremendous effort.Such a lovely bag .You should send this photo to Elsa.
I have taken some new pictures that show the colors better and I do plan on sending them to Elsa.
It is beautiful. You did a fantastic job. I love the colors. Hugs, Gail
I think you've done an awesome job with this bag Queenofhearts. Even though your camera has shown us these colours I'm sure in real life they look fabulous. Maybe if you do make another bag put the Pansies on before you finish up the sewing of the bag. Just a thought! I don't know how you did all that hand sewing with a pair of pliers pulling the needle through, that must have taken ages! Love Chris
I did put the pansies on before I assembled the purse but the base of the purse is fusible foam and the flowers are the thickness of mug rugs and I didn't want the stitches to show so I hand stitched it with little tiny stitches. My daughter stopped by while I was sewing the flowers on and after watching me for a few minutes she said I have more patience than she does. She said if it were her it would be in the trash by now.
So Stunning!!!!A Big WOW!!!!Great fantastic work you have done...
It really is pretty, even though it tried your patience. I'm sure the colors are nicer in person, but they look really good here. I love your pansys and am glad you got to make your purse. It really looks great!-Toogie
