Dianne: What a great set of gifts for baby Charlotte ! As newbie, let me ask you, on the baby's shirt, what stablizers did you use ? I have not tried a t-shirt or baby onsie, yet.
I used a soft lightwewight cut-away stabilser on the shirts/onesies and tear-away on the burp cloths and bibs.
lucky friend of yours, those gifts look great! well done *4u

A very nice gift set! Very cute stuff!
Did you make your burp cloths? If so, what did you make them out of? Always looking for new ideas!
No, I bought them at Mothercare, 3 for £4 ($8US) and the all-in-one suits from Asda, 3 for £2 ($4US!) - at those prices, who's going to take the time to make them? The bibs (will upload them next when I've completed the set) were £3/$6 for 5 : decorated things are so much more expensive but I buy the basic plain stuff and embroider those.
This is a very reasonable gift. The new mother will be delighted to receive such a beautiful assortment. *4U.
Sorry - they are three burp cloths (to stop you smelling of baby sick after they throw up down your back!) and a long-sleeved all-in-one (is this the same as the Americans call a Onesie?) I've actually done two of these, plus a baby welcome card to match the other one, which I am going to photograph together and post here too, plus three bibs with the same designs as the burp cloths. A reasonable gift pack, I think! Love Dianne x x x
