Design for Maryze.

I was asked to embroider a baby bathrobe with a name and 'something extra'. So I digitised something that resembled the design on the birth-announcement. Client wanted the name in pink, thus the change in colours.
Tested it and decided it was too large. So here's the test turned into a bib and the final product.

Lovely design and work. Well done on being able to use the test stitch out as a bib

This bib& bathrobe set you'd stitched looks so sweet. This design you'd made came out nice too. Thanks for sharing them. :~D

Customer was very happy; happy enough to pay me some extra when I gave her the bib as well. Makes no sense to keep it in my box with tests, does it, not with a name on it.

Lovely - this made me smile because it reminded me of "Mairzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey, A kiddley divey too, Wooden shoe!""

The name was a new one for me - I was glad I had it in print.
The "mairzy doats" is new to me too, makes me a liddle dizzy dozy.

It is a song from the 1950's (or possibly sooner.) You have to say it out loud to make sense - mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy!

jrob by jrob 16 Jun 2016

A kid'll eat ivy, too. Wouldn't you?
I used to sing this all of the time when I was little. Thanks for the reminder- I'll have to teach it to my girls next time they are here.
