Dance recital season and my daughter spends the recital backstage helping the dancers with their costume changes, hair, and make up. She asked for a "tool apron" 2 days before recital. So here is what I came up with. Next year it will be black so she doesn't have to take it off as she runs to the wings to watch her girls dance. The pockets are deep to hold a can of hair spray and brushes. There is also a snap off 5in square see thru "pocket" that you can barely see in the center. It is for hair pins or safety pins.

Instead of an inclusion dance the girls studio has a Dad's dance. The Dads have 2 or 3 practice sessions then at the recital it is barely controlled chaos. It is always the favorite dance of the night. mk
