WOW!!!Excellent beautiful quilt bag nice fabric colours. And nice project.
I love patchwork and this one is a excellent project. You did so well.
You've made this YOUR bag. Great embroidery and Very nice purse. Great use of recycle also.
I come from a very large family and we learned how to recycle long before it was fashionable. For me it has been a way of life. I am the oldest in my family but I had two cousins that were older than me. I would be so excited when they got a new dress because in a few years it would be mine.
I think families had to recycle after the war because things were in short supply.I use to go through my cousins clothes to see what I would get in a few years time. Also the full skirts of my mothers frocks were turned into dresses for me by my grandmother.
A terrific purse, love the colour combinations. Well done. Sandra.
Beautiful and great idea to do both sides and quilt the bottom. Great colors.
It's turned out beautifully Teresa. I love crazy patchwork patterns - you've nailed this one. I like pockets inside bags too and wish I'd done them in the ones I made for the ladies last year. Love Chris
Lovely bag and lovely fabric choice. Great idea to make two fronts and add a quilted bottom. I too have some belts saved for a project like this.
It is wonderful and has so many good ideas. I like the idea of a quilted bottom if not vinyl.
Lovely! Great minds think alike on handles.
Sometimes I find ugly purses in the bargain bin at the thrift store that has neat hardware on them so I get them and remove the hardware for a someday project.
