I agree, it looks great - your family sure is lucky to have someone so clever spoiling them; hope you have fun with the dresses & the nautical outfit, too.
IF I ever get a chance to sew them-lol- the next two days are taken up with other duties. Thanks for looking-Toogie
it is very nice and will look really great on the little man
Perfect and so beautiful! Your grandsn will be very happy
Thank you, I think his mom will be pleased. At 3 months, old I don't think he's too concerned about his clothing yet.-lol-as long as he can eat and sleep, he's happy!
Excellent---And, I don't see a thing wrong with your stitching. Night time seems to be the time when I sew most, when I feel like sewing. You have fun!!!
Oh Patti, I am, he's a doll! You know how much I love to sew and sewing for babies is really my passion. I was in a hurry when I made the pocket addition, you know when DH wants you to do one thing and you're trying to finish up another. There was a scrap and it looked big enough so I hurriedly embroidered and attached.
Yes, I know when DH calls--at least you got your little 'Gussy' shirt finished and it is lovely. Gus will shine wearing it.
This is an adorable shirt for Gus.... He will be "Stylin'"
Thanks Sharon...I will most likely see him today, if not tomorrow then.....I need to finish that other nautical set for him......and then those 2 dresses for his sisters.....and I want to make................lol
You are way to modest! Your stitching looks wonderful. This is so cute!
I always love white on white! He will look adorable ... just don't give him any chocolate
No, no chocolate, carrots, green beans, etc. Of course, he is only on breast milk so no danger of any of those, yet. We love white on white too.
You are such a wonderful seamstress - Gus will look adorable in this shirt! I envy your talent!! Hugs, Laura*
Oh Laura, you give me way too much credit, but thank you. Gus is getting to be a big boy. He loves to 'talk' to my husband. My dh can really get him going.-lol
Gus will look a million dollars in his new little shirt, love the anchor touch, very smart. Toogie you have done a great job as usual . Sandra.
Sandra I appreciate your kind words and am always glad to see you look at my projects. I thought the anchor might brighten it up a bit, thanks-Toogie
That is so dressy. The white anchor gives it a nice touch.
It looks great! You did it so quick. It would take me a day to cut out the pattern.
Not this size Christine, as from collar to hem, is only 12 or 13 inches long. I cut out with my rotary cutter because its quick and easy on the hands. All the seams are short so it stitches up fast and I use my serger, so the seams inside are finished. Thanks for looking.
Gus is going to look so cute in this shirt. As I recall, you made some other nautical themed items recently, didn't you? I suppose Gus will have to have his own sailing ship soon! Enjoy him while you can. They do grow fast.
You are correct about my other nautical items, but they were for my friends grandson. I have been having Gus's diaper cover bottom about made, but still have to make his shirt. I need to do it soon,as you said, they do grow fast.
That looks great, Toogie. The anchor is a cute touch. He'll look quite a gentleman wearing this!
Thanks mops, he is growing so fast, I can't believe he's almost 3 months old. She wanted something all white, for church, so I think she'll like this.
