Great job on the shirt Toogie. I love white shirts too. I would use a tear away as it's such a lightweight design. Good choice of fabrics in your fabric stash too. Love Chris
Chris, I used tearaway, but you know it's such a small design, it stitched so fast, when it stitched one flag it jumped fast over to stitch the other. I think it pulled and puckered then.....I don't know. Maybe I should try to slow it down...........
I love Gus' little shirt. You have made it an heirloom. Someone is going to get a quilt with a lot of love and prayer built in. Kudos to you for thinking and doing for others.
I rarely make the quilt Karen, it's a joint project (Women on Mission), I just do all the emb on each one. Yes a lot of love and prayers.
I almost didn't put his shirt up but I love a white shirt. What stabilizer do you think I should have used, for it to not pucker and also not show?
I personally love seeing your projects. You seem to love doing all I love to do except for one thing---you actually sew 'ALOT'--I have lousy energy level. This shirt pattern is so classy and not the usual boxy style and sorry, no help on where this cross design is from. Aha--one day soon I will post a pic in Craft section I guess of that crochet bolero. Yes, I finished it but I have to gussy up a bit before I get a pic of me wearing it. Almost have a quilted wall hanging complete also and will post that in sewing soon. Be good now.
I'm always good, aren't I?-lol-I'm looking forward to seeing your projects and your pic!.........maybe the nautical outfit tomorrow.......
Again well done. I saw in the post with the fabric a type of wide check mainly white but with some light blue. How would that look for a shirt?

I think the one you are talking about is a plisse and it's little flowers. I'll try to add a close up. There also is another with green ladybugs and flowers too, I think. Maybe I can show you,to see which one you meant, but I'll have to put it at the t
