I'd never be brave enough to try stitching on that fabric, but seeing your projects has given me courage to try it. Nicely done
We never know where we might see something we can embroider on do we. Fabulous idea. I love the bags./Lillian
Now I will have to keep my eyes open next time I am in the hardware store. Great idea. I am sure these are very practical. Love the font you chose.
These look great - what a find that fabric was!
Thank you. Yes it was. I wish I hadn't thrown out the paper label that was in the packet. I think it was about 4 feet wide by 22 feet long and only cost $11 Aust.
That was the small one. I thought if my idea doesn't work I can always use it for outdoor blinds.
These are great looking. I am wondering if you even needed tear a way stabilizer since you said it had a plastic type backing. I know what I will look for and try to find next time I go to a tool store with DH.
Thank you. I tried it without a stabilizer but it was either sticking or dragging and kept breaking the thread. No problem once I had stabilizer on it.
...everything nice. And I do love your saying written on it. The Riverland Girls will be so pleased - very unique
Love Maria
Great idea and wonderful bags. Goes to show, we embroiders will stitch on anything we can find.
Your bags are fantastic!! Your corners are so crisp......great project!
These are great! Good idea on the canvas and the bags turned out great!
Excellent bags and even though I do not know the riverland girls. They must Rock!
Ah, I understand. In Germany we would call them "Landfrauen" - also hard working on their farms but now really up-to-date using their laptops for marketing and renting holiday flats on their farms too.
The Riverland is the country area where they live like a Town. Some grow Grapes for Wine some Citrus like Oranges some Tomatoes.
