How long did it take to make this? How big is it? wow!!
It took about 2 months with working on it off and on. It has a diameter of 49 inches (from side to side across the middle). Don't know what the outside circumference is. Hugs.
Fantastic! I've never seen a rug like this - what a great project,
Not enough adjectives in my vocabulary to tell you how beautiful this is. A lot of work but worth every bit of is/Lillian
Fabulous! Love the center circle and how it radiates out. I'd be afraid to walk on it for fear of wrecking it!
I have ones on my floor that are 10 years old and go through the washer and dryer and the only complaint I have is the colors have faded. They are ok walk on. Hugs
My eyes are popping out of my head. What can I say? Grand, glorious etc etc. Don't think I would ever give that a go. Can't imagine the time it would take--to me--forever! Wonderful color--great job!
My goodness this rug is stunning.......tons of work, right?
This is gorgeous! Way too nice for a floor...you have done an outstanding job and the colors are spectacular!
I want one! Except those look like tiny squares which I am definitely afraid of! and they get smaller? gorgeous!
Totally beyond me how you have made this beautiful rug. Me thinks it is far too lovely to go on the floor. Amazing.
Oh my goodness, this is beautiful. I remember making rag rugs with my grandmother when I was a little tyke but, nothing ever looked like this. WOW!!
Looks fantastic, so how due you make a quilt into a rug?
Make it the same as any quilt. I use fleece for the batting when I know they are for rugs. Hope that makes sense. Thank you, Hugs
Yes do water there wilting****Love your rug how was it made ??
It is made in strips of 18 colors then cut, sewn, and recut, and re-sewn. Just requires labeling so you know what is what. It actually makes two at one time. So, she gets twoof them. Thank you, Hugs
Cuties please remember, to be a good gardener, you need to water the flowers!
This is gorgeous! I don't know how this design comes about but it is flawless. You have created something truly amazing with beautiful colors. I love it- Toogie
I think it is unanimous -way to nice to be on the floor. Beautiful job well done
But it is too small for a bed and being round, works well for a rug. Thank you, Hugs
Very, Very Nice! to have so many quilts that I need to branch out to floor quilts! A wonderful goal! One very lucky daughter to have a prolific quilter for a mother and friend. I would hope that the things I lovingly created for people would be used and appreciated not carefully packed away, so knowing you meant it to be used on the floor makes all the difference, at least for me. This will be cherished for many years, while a child's circle skirt in the same pattern would become out grown in just a short amount of time. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with us. Pam
I agree with you that what I make is to be used, not packed away somewhere. Thank you, Hugs
Perfect, and far to nice for a kitchen floor - at least it would be for mine, I am too messy a cook for a thing of beauty like your quilt!!
Impressive !... Not sure how to understand how to sew this...
An amazing result, beautiful bright colours, well done. Thanks for sharing with us. This will certainly brighten up the kitchen floor. Sandra.
This is just too beautiful. I have never done any bargello quilts looks too difficult for me you have done an excellent piece. Thank for showing
That is so nice of you to say since you have created some fantastic quilts.. Hugs
Excellent work! Gold star for you! Lovely colours.
Awesome work. She'll have trouble focusing on her cooking with this on the floor!
10 out of 10 for this magnificent rug, what a beautiful piece of quilting!!!!
May I ask how big this turned out as it looks a good size? Love Chris
Thank you, If I remember geometry correctly, it has a diameter of 49 inches (from side to side across the middle). Don't know what the outside circumference is. Hugs.
