Hello Ladies and Gents, my daughter must have been shopping yesterday because she sent me a text message with this picture and asked if I needed a new crochet hook. My reply was, "imagine the cost of the rope for that hook to make a rug". She replied that we could recycle t-shirts and I told her that one t-shirt in strips might make a chain of 20 LOL

Many thanks for your comments all, I have seen one person using their hands to crochet for bigger results!!!

Wow that is a hook! Not sure how easy it would be to use but you could certainly do some great work with it!

It is actually a weapon. Ha, ha
I have seen big ones made out of plastic but never that big and made from wood.

Giant hook. This is for the fun but very difficult to handle I assume. But in fact there are people knitting and crocheting with the monster needles :-) and some do great work. Maria

This would be perfect for a wall decoration like a scissor/cup holder, Just add cup hooks. I found some huge spools and have them on a wall.

To rally use this hook I think you would need at least 2 people. Some one to hold the yarns and another to maneuver the hook. I love the large knitting though.

They use giant hooks for crochet and needles for knitting...there are patterns and yarn available for it.

I have never seen one that big. I have problems with my hands so I know I could hold this one.

I could hold this crochet hook, but i don't think I could actually use it. Would be interesting to see what sort of tension someone could get, and what sort of article was made using this unique hook. Have never seen anything so large.

I think you better use this one for camping, like tent pegs to hold a tent in place :)

Wow, can you imagine trying to even hold this for any length of time, I think your hand would ache! Love Chris
