What a view. Absolutely beautiful, thanks for sharing.
Beautiful pictures and what an amazing shaped mountain. I also look over a mountain but so far no snow on top this winter.
You must take a deep breath and pinch yourself everyday with a view like that!
Yes it is beautiful. We see some lovely sunsets over the mountain as well.
Enjoy your snow, they are lovely photos and I really like Tassie. We are hoping to have winter in Townsville, North Queensland on Friday we may get down to 18 degrees. So far our winter and rain season haven't arrived and our water supply is running out
My G. Daughter lives up in Brisbane. She loves the weather up there after living down here in the cold. Hope you get some rain some.
For those who don't get snowed in it looks great, but I'm sure it's cold down there, Sydney is getting strong freezing winds.. Stay warm. Marian
Yesterday was just so cold. Spent most of the day in front of a lovely fire.
We all had the same freezing wind. Just Shirley gets to take some of the bite off of it for us in Sydney. :-) So thank you
Just saw it on TV news and it looks so much worse now than when you took the photo. Stay warm and safe.
We were warm inside but had strong winds blowing cold air off that mountain.
Thank you for sharing your scenery, just wonderful to have a peek at where you live. Sandra.
I am pleased you liked the scenery. It is so quiet and peaceful here. Shirley
Oh my, what a beautiful scene to view everyday. I love the pasture land too. In the top photo, what are the animals I see in the distance? Is it sheep as in the bottom photo? It looks so peaceful. Thanks for showing us where you are.
The animals in the top photo are cows. Did you notice the 2 black crows sitting on the fence in the 2nd photo? Yes it is so peaceful here, Our nearest neighbour whose house you can see in the 2nd photo is opposite our drive entrance. Our house is 1 kilometer from the entrance.
Are the cows Black Angus Shirley? I can see a light tan one there too. Beautiful pictures of such stunning scenery. It's been cold enough almost to snow here today in Newcastle, but of course it didn't. My sister in law posted a picture of the Brindabellas in Canberra this morning covered in snow, it looked gorgeous. Love Chris
We recently got some new neighbors. Really too close for me, but before that, I could see the other two neighbor's houses in the distance. That was close enough.
I'm in the country and love it. I wouldn't live in cities with all that traffic and people, but then they wouldn't want to live here either. It would be 'boring' for them here and too noisy for me there.-lol
CHRIS, I do not know one breed of cattle from another. I think they are just a mixture.
TOOGIE, I was born and bred in the country, and when I left school went to live with my brother and his wife in the city. I married a city boy. We lived in the city for 32 years then out in the country for 8 years and then back to the city for another 4 years. Have been here 10 years, but the time is coming when we will have to consider moving back to the city because of health etc. Not looking forward to close neighbors, traffic, dogs and other noises. Hugs
Wow how beautiful and so different. It must be lovely to wake up to a different view each day.
Yes it is lovely. Pouring rain yesterday morning and snow this morning. Hugs
