These look so yummy Lorraine, what's your recipe secret.. Would love to try it.
I just got it on line & substituted the butter for applesauce & added a cup of each walnuts & craisins. for the chocolate I added 1/2 cocoa powder. hope this helps
ooohhh delicious.
My experience with zuchinni was great until the bees decided it was a good idea to pollinate the zuchinne with the spaghetti squash. We ended up with a strange looking vegetable that tasted like zuchinni! I havent been able to grow any since. I think we might have to give it another try without the squash in the garden this time
thanks so much, you know funny that you mention this but I didn't grow any squash this year & I have to wonder now if my zucchini did so well because of this? I wonder if any other cuties have successfully frown the both of them together? ~hugs~
Yes, I have grown them ,too. The first year I put 2 cup shredded portions in a zip lock bag and froze them and i never used them all up. Then I! thew them out and then I quit saving them. This year i have yellow squash and I am enjoying them. Kay
my hubbie pollinates in the morning with a cottonbutt from the male to the female flower we always have plenty of zucchinis maybe this helps you next time hugs Ursula
I know raisins but have never heard about craisins, nevertheless I would love a slice each, please! lol..... Congratulations, Loralye, they look delicious.
Hugs, Lidia
thanks so much, Lidia they are a cross between a raisin & a cranberry & yummy ~hugs~
A slice of the walnut and craisins, please! I had no room to plant zucchini so I will have to buy mine. Congrats on your fine crop.
Loralye, the look delicious, and will taste even better with your own home grown zucchinis. Sandra.
Well done Loralye, they look delicious, love Chris
Looks good, never heard of the chocolate before. That would make it even better. Yum Yum
I am glad you finally had success. It is so rewarding to get produce from the own garden. My zucchini plants are not doing well this year. In the past I had overload.
Mine too!! Getting some, but not like years before. The yellow squash is going nuts, however!
see everyone around me is having trouble with their zucchini too but mine is doing the really well. I did add a mixture of peat moss vermiculite pearls sheep manure & soil. Every other year I have done horse manure........Now if I could get the squash to grow that would be wonderful too lol
