Very nice work!! your niece should love and cherish it!!
Your vanity-case is super! i love the design. Congratulations ! I have done a lot of them in different size for electric iron, clothpins, makeup for my daughter who is student. The more difficult was the first one , then I used an extensible fabric sticked with iron on a fleece fabric with vinyl as lining and so the seams were not so difficult to sew and I even can quilt too. Thank you for sharing and amitiés de France.
Thank you. The instructions call for using fusible fleece on the lining, but since I used vinyl I omitted the fleece. It also said to quilt the top & bottom panels, but I thought those were already stiff enough so I just assembled the smooth pieces. The size is great, and can be used for many purposes. I would love to see some of yours if you have photos.
ok i ask for photos my daughter (she is in south Corea). As soon i have them, i post them. See you soon .
I think your persistence paid off well. It looks great from here!-lol- No joke, I think it does look great and I have this pattern/design also, although I have yet to make one. Lovely job-Toogie
Cuties, please click on other Cuties flowers (to water). I just gave all below a flower and as I was clicking, I saw that some had only a third of what they should have. ...Pity, as our summer is hot & dry enough.
Thanks Toogie. You should try one. It's a big size, and your grandchildren could use it to keep their little treasures, some toys or crayons and markers.
That is adorable. Is there a web site for the pattern? I really like your choice of fabric and design.
Beautiful work and useful too!
If I can give you a recommendation about very simple and great image program (free): IrfanView. It is very simple to use, you can easily rotate, resample your image (just a "R" button for rotation of an image and "S" to save). You can cut and paint too. Or what I love: It is very easy to save image screenshots of your PC. This is a for me a very simple way to save any image from the internet.
Thank you so much. My post was done on a cell phone, and everything looked as it should when I loaded the photos. I finally got home and looked at my laptop, and that's when I saw things were upside down. I think I got them turned upright now. Thanks for the info on the image program.
It's so wonderful and I'm sure, your nice will be trilled:-)
What a fantastic job you have done with this case, your niece shall be thrilled i am sure. Sandra.
Thanks, I hope she likes it. With the exception of having to wrestle with the rigid interfacing, it was actually a fun project.
Persistence paid off. It turned out excellent.
Perseverance has paid off. It's wonderful. Love Chris
Most excellent...she will love it...was this done in-the-hoop or put together with your sewing machine?
Thanks. The embroidered lipstick design is the only part done in the hoop. The rest is a sewing project.
