Those who love to do handwork, machine embroidery and even just regular sewing but with the little extra details of creativity added, are the ones who will always spot those extra details in these types of events, before they notice everything else that so many other types of people seem to see first. I often miss or fail to remember everything but those fantastic details and the hours and hours worth of effort that went into completing those masterpieces. Those creators will be the other unsung hero's of these types of events. Others would stand in line to see the athletes, where many of us would stand in line to watch one of the costume designers at work, or take a class from one of them. Hope all have time to watch some of the games, and hoping all remain safe and the athletes that have spent much of their lives training for this event that they each will be able to perform their best and just enjoy the whole experience and opportunity they have achieved already. All are already winners in my thinking. The sheer commitment and dedication to get to where they already are in their skill levels. Just inspiring. Enjoy watching everyone..plus a bit of dreaming of the costumes too! Pam
First Gold went to a USA woman in shooting. Wow women have come a long way./Lillian
Yes, American men should be a bit wary of us now - some of us are sharpshooters!
Yes they were lovely and some fantastic embroidery on the uniforms.
