When my step-son and wife had their baby son my sister had to tell me that I've become a great grandmother. I thought this was funny because I would have had to be 16 when he was born. But I thought about it and I made this chart, I've used the age of 12 just because it's possible to bear a child... I did add one year to "my" age to make up for the 9 months.

I have a daughter at 12
she has a child at 12
I am now 26
my grand child has a baby at 12
I am now 38
my great grand child has a baby at 12
I am now 50
my great great grand child has a child at 12
I am now 63
my great great great grand child has a child at 12
I am now 76
my great great great great grand child has a child at 12
I am now 89
