These towels you've done look lovely& colors are delightful too. Thanks for sharing it. :~D
Great job Carolyn. Hum.. hadn't seen them done this way. I might have to try it like that also. ;) Great job.
Oh these are quite fabulous. Just don't know how designs look until you stitch them. Love that rose!! And yes, I got it! Great towels Carolyn.
Love them Carolyn especially the roses. Good job using back of a Christmas potholder. No one will ever know/Lillian
I have been admiring your towels and am intrigued how long are the towels if you can cut them in half and they still can be long enough and how big are the pot holders the ones I have seen are too small to fold in half. Love the rose design
In Canada the pot holders are 7x8.5 and most towels are 26 long but 15 wide a good size when cut in two ok??
Ok thanks mine are then far too small to cut in half, blast that means more ££££
They turned out great.. I do like the seam being hidden inside, did you use any fray stop on the fabric edge. Did it go through the Serger easily. Marian
Forgot about fray stop i will put some on it and i could use the serger but will try that next time lol thanks
Or you could top-stitch on the outside of the potholder, just above the spot where you inserted the towel. This would keep the pot holder from flopping open and cover the raw seam, too. I like the way you didn't cut through the edges - makes for a neat edge and less bulk to sew. Good job!!
Your tea towel turned out very nice. Thank you for sharing.
Happy Stitching!!!
Oh my, that rose is really beautiful. (What a shame, I have been sick & missed collecting it). But you have done it justice with your lovely work.
Great work Carolyn, like the christmas one best. Sandra.
This looks very nice. Good job as always Carolyn. Hugs, Gail
I am making a policeman doll for my brother. He is a retired policeman. He had a serious motorcycle accident the 26th of June. I thought it might cheer him up some Hugs
