How wonderful for you. It is nice get out to nature, with the right equipment. . Time for back to school and holidays, happy stitching.
So glad you were able to get a break with your boys!! Love the pictures! God's world is so pretty and awesome!! Welcome home.
Ahhhhhhh my kind of a world bush, trees, wildlife etc. I love to live in it but i hate those little black flies lol
Love camping for the summer too
Glad you had a good time hugs from my bush***Carolyn
Love your pics. You do not mention the rest of your family but hope they were with you. They would have so enjoyed it. Love you
My dear friend, I did have my youngest boys with me. I couldn't have relaxed without them there. I would fret and worry too much. My children mean so much to me. They brighten every day. The elder boys are all grown up with silly stuff to keep them away from camping -- like women, University, and jobs.
While we were camping, I watched the stress leave both my young boys. They watched the stress leave me. They are now ready for (and off to) school. I am ready for (I hope) all that life brings to me.
Beautiful!! I hope you recharged your batteries with nature. what a nice scenery and with the wild life. Glad you enjoyed yourself.
Wow, how could you not relax here, right? All of you mods need this break from time to time.........the task of keeping us a happy family has to be overwhelming at times.....family dynamics can be very tricky..........

Welcome back to your home and the home of Cuties, Rescuer. You have certainly been visiting a beautiful part of the world judging by your pictures. Most of us have been well behaved just in case you managed to sneak in once in a while but now that I know you are back full time, I had better be on my very best behaviour. Good to learn that you have enjoyed your break...........................and welcome home.
I am glad to be back but I do miss my mountains! They are so very majestic! Sometimes, I think they could cure anything -- if one spends enough time there. I did glance a couple of times at Cute when I returned to civilization to get ice for my icebox. But I didn't have time to chat.
"Always watching" LOL
I am so glad you had a very well deserved rest. Rejuvenating is so important. We appreciate you too.
Oh! how magnificent to see a deer in the wild like that Rescuer. What beautiful scenery as well, the mountains look so majestic. We don't have too many high mountain ranges like overseas, but our Blue Mountains here in New South Wales are gorgeous. Of course we don't have the trees like you do, ours are mostly native not Oaks, Maples, Cedars etc. Mostly Eucalypts, Wattles, Grevilleas, Banksias, Moreton Bay Fig, Paper Bark (Melaleuca) and then there are the magnificent Rainforest trees. I do hope you had a good break and are refreshed, renewed and reinvigorated. I missed you. Love Chris
Thank you Chris. Our mountain has one of the largest living organisms -- the Quaking Aspens. They all come from one tree. It is amazing to sit beneath the Aspens, the Firs and the Pines. The Aspens are my favorite as they "sing" with the wind.
I would love to see your mountains -- one day.
Thank you. Looks like a great summer, especially that close up of the deer. Where were the mountains?

The doe stayed for a long time (until a car passed on a nearby road) and we watched near breathlessly as she grazed. I missed you too!
