A very nice set. I always enjoy seeing your work, well done.
Toogie---I just love this.
Dumb internet in my area messed up---In all the world I watch on t.v. all these people in the remotest areas have cell phone coverage---ME--in rural area America and crappy cell coverage and internet. Your set is just adorable. I have a little elephant I put on my usb and am going to try it out and see what it is. I think it is just a front and back but not sure if it looks like yours. Still got to go out and try to remember to buy a package of diapers to have on hand to use with beautiful strips of fabrics. I love to see all of your creations.
Thank you, that's nice to hear. I asked if anyone knew where I could find one and I re-looked into my files, and lo and behold, there they were.
Such a cute set, well done. Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching
I think they look good Toogie. I like the elephant, he looks good. I remember the elephant, but don't remember who posted it, sorry.
Look below is the link. Joansatx found the site for the free elephants, about 14 I think. Thanks for looking-T
This looks fantastic Toogie, well done. Love Chris
What a lovely set you have made, I'm sure the person that receives this will be delighted. Did you have a pattern for the bib, I really like how it has a snap on one shoulder. Thanks
You know what, there was a Cutie that digitized me the neck part, because I only have a 5x7 hoop and I had to sew the rest, on my regular machine. I just saw the lady whose baby this is for, at the post office when I went to mail the other bibs, but I didn't have it with me.
This burp set you've done looks so adorable& sure to make some child wild about elles too. Wondered where you'd found this fabric if you don't mind telling? Thought it might be nice to add a wrist strap to make this elle stay on a baby's hand too. Thanks for sharing your projects. :~D
the stippling is a nice addition. Ellie looks great, I love the ears, and the long tail is nice for little hands to grab (or suck on).
I did shorten the tail and if its sucked on, it won't come off. I stitched it over & over & over!
Toogie, this set is precious. A happy little Ellie to finish the set!
What a lovely set. Elephant is a perfect addition, but I would shorten his tail. Hugs Shirley
Very cute! I think this is the same elephant: http://klann-inchendesign.blogspo...
Yes, this is it! Thank you for locating it for us. It stitched really well. I did use a 5x7 basing file first, to hold down my fabric, for the elephant.
I couldn't get the site to come up for the elephant download by clicking on the square in the right hand list, not sure what I did wrong.
mlbell-click on the sqare of elephants on the right side of page. A drop box page will show up. Click on download. Then a sign up sq will apear. You don't have to sign in just close this , then hit download again and it will be a zip file.
Toogie this is just too cute I like the quilting to
you did a terrific job Toogie, it is a darling set. ~hugs~
very sweet set. Do you do your stippling by hand? I think they look great and I love the little elephant. Hugs, Gail
It's machine, free motion quilting. I just hold the fabric and move it randomly. I think this method is so relaxing. I was lucky to find a set of these elephants, in a folder I had. I must have downloaded them this year and forgot about them. Thanks for looking.
Love your elephant stuffie. He is perfect with that fabric.
Oh i LOVE at quarters and i must have 200 or more they come in SEW handy***Nice work Grammie hugs
Very cute set, Toogie...I have done many burps with a fabric panel down the center...sometimes using a couple of different coordinating fabrics...although the serged edge is fine...I still personally prefer adding a binding on the ends...just me I guess...I think the elephant stuffie would be adorable to add...if you can't find one, let me know and I will digitize one for you...
You're so sweet but actually, I had several in a file I overlooked, thank you though. I am trying to get Gus a bib out of this too, is why I didn't bind it....maybe I'll get another piece.
This set is adorable. I especially like the font you used for his name and think the serged edge is fine.
Oh, I can't believe I didn't say, but the font is from Five Star Fonts-Teachers Pet. Thanks for the reminder and for commenting-T
Nice set, and the serged edge looks good to me. I am afraid I can't help you with a link to the elephant, but since you have the pattern, you could use Sue's 4 legged one and leave out the middle parts, making it 2 legged.
I found a whole herd (or set)lol in one of my files! The file says 'geburtselefant- with stars, heart, clover, mushroom, bandaid. I thought I had looked in all of them, so maybe tomorrow I will Update-going to bed now. I also googled and found a large sewing one, but I doubt I make a large one.
I thought the edge would be ok too, but I'm glad to have your opinion. Looking at it here, I should quilt it like I did the bib, don't you think?
