My 11 year old granddaughter came to visit and she brought with her the projects she has been working on all hand sewn she bought the kits for the cushion owl and doll from hobbycraft, I am so proud of her she had no help and did this on her own she is still busy with the doll's clothes

It always thrills me too hear of the younger generation having and wanting to do hand crafts and sewing. Keep be proud and encouraging her/Lillian

Thank you Lillian I feel the same way but could not get my daughters to even pick up a needle.

She is one of those rare ones who just have a natural talent and understanding of how to sew--wonderful!! You and she will have lots of fun together. Encourage her with all the nice comments.

Thanks I will pass on the kind words I am so happy that she enjoys the needle work she is already knitting and crochet work only had to show her once and then she goes onto Utube when she needs more infomation

You must be very proud about her, she has talent. Even the color combinations are good. I bet we will see her soon on our website.

Oh Chris I know she has been interested in all things crafty. She started a few years ago she wanted me to show her how to crochet and knit now she has started sewing in February I bought a singer sewing and embrodery machine which I dont like so I have packed it up and I intend to give it to her it would be great for a learner.
