Two more lavender sachets. These have thinner and therefore better behaved ribbon than the heart shaped one! The central section is a fancy fill on net to let the smell out. I'm afraid the eyes on the owl look a bit bloodshot as the purple bobbin thread came through.

she or he may be a 'night-owl' [with blood shot eyes!] I do love them, very clever idea. My lavender plant has been flowering well this season, should have been harvesting it.

I love your idea of the lacy center and the fact that you filled them before completing the final outline. Both look lovely and I know you-know-who will be so happy you chose this colour.
Ribbons always behave far better when they are added at a straight or slightly curved bit and they hate being inserted in the deep v-shape of a heart or between petals; or at the corner of a square (I tried that at the corner of a pot-holder, with horrible results).

Where did you get the pattern of the owl? I would love to make that one for a friend who collects owls.
