Hi Jan. I use Designer's Gallery Studio Plus. Mine is an older version but I love it. You might look into that. Hope you find one that you like.
Thanks, I didn't realize there were so many different digitizing programs!
Oh, Jan...most of these are not digitizing programs...they are programs that allow you to make minor edits and see your designs in your File Explorer...
If you are looking for free programs, I have used both Truesizer and Wings. Wings works with windows 10. Not sure about truesizer.

Thumbnailer from Embrilliance. Thumbnailer is a stand alone program but Embrilliance Essentials is so great I would hate to be without it. Now I am using Windows 10 but started this set when I had XP. Once I had a problem, but one email to Embrilliance and the update for Thumbnailer was installed at once. Can't ask for better service.

Sweet i couldnt find a free icon thing for mac. It only shows the picture of lowercase pes files not capital PES. I wonder how big of changes they make between each version/why
StitchBuddy isn't free, but it is worth every penny. I had a sewing machine that could not recognize the upper case .PES and only the .pes
I use SewICONZ on my Windows 10 and laptop windows 10.
If you are a Mac user, take a look at Embrilliance. Nice people to deal with, great programs that you can purchase in segments as you need. The design viewing program is called Thumbnailer and can be bought by itself. Hugs. Nan W
Thanks, I'll be sure to look into Embrilliance. I use a Mac and I use StitchBuddy which is great as I can see each design as it fans across the top!
It's Embird Iconizer for me. Have been using it for years and love it. But there may be something out there which is free and will do the job. Best of luck. Hugs
Jan, I have used the Embird Iconizer for several years to view my designs and info about each. Once you purchase the basic Embird program, the Iconizer is an add-on for approx. $20. There are so many great features of the basic, and do not know how I managed without the Iconizer! Love it!! Bought the Studio portion over a year ago, and wanted so badly to learn how to digitize, but life has gotten in the way of my well woven plans! Haven't had time to even try it yet!! Will soon be so old, I will have forgotten the "plans"!! LOL But, life is still good, regardless of its many challenges! Think of you often, and send prayers and best wishes!
Hugs, Angel
Hi Jan, I use SewIconz it's brilliant! Love Chris
Thanks, Chris, We downloaded it, but I just don't know enough about Windows operating system and her computer totally confuses me. She needs to learn more about how to use her own computer before I can be of much help! Hugs!
I would recommend SewIconz from Sands Computing.
I also use it. Many other Cuties use it too. Sands Computing owners are excellent to work with and have very prompt support. It is the best one for my Windows computers at the least price. They do allow it to be placed on my desktop and my laptop with only one (inexpensive) license.
Oops, it's called StitchBuddy! What can my friend use on her Windows computer?
