I have been busy doing more garden vegetable soups for upcoming cooler temperatures. I add spinach, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots onions, celery green beans a wee bit of potato & brown beans processed to make a paste to make this soup really creamy without adding any dairy. & herbs & spices of course. It is yummy on a cold day

Looks yummy! I have to have homemade soup as I can't eat the bought stuff because of allergies.
I like all the vegies you've used - and they are all ones I can have.
I never thought of canning soup - I make some and freeze it in quantities for one bowlful (my hubbby only likes Campbell's)..

Wow canning soups is a brilliant idea. Are they shelf stable processed or do you freeze the jars? I would love to try out your recipe

I have only been canning for a few years but have mostly done sweet things like jams, syrup, cordial and power filling. Here in Australia the recommendations don't seem quite as strict as US. Because I am a germaphobe I follow US guidelines for canning and still have jars from 3 years ago that are perfectly fine to eat still.

we love soup during fall & winter here so canning from our garden makes gr8 sense for us. they are shelf stable for years lol our kids freeze theirs but I am old fashioned & still do jars lol (no room in my freezer lol)

Wow you have been busy. It is so rewarding to have the homegrown vegetables last through the winter.
