Well I may be crazy but I got the new Viking Diamond yesterday! It's awesome. The large hoop so big you can put it over your head, down & step out! And I'm not small! What will I use it for?Ideas?

You are so lucky. My sister just got one also. She will be visiting me to take classes on it. I too wish I could do that. It is a lot bigger than the SE (embroidery unit). Enjoy!!!!

emboider the hubby, the children, the neighbours, it sounds like they will fit in the hoop. Is hoop envy the same as men and their, well, you know what men envy!!!!!!LOL. Enjoy your wonderful machine. What about clock faces? They are large. And photo frames with writing about the pic? Imagination is the limit. Hav fun.

I have been thinking about seeing what I could get for one of my SE's and trading up. Just casually mentioned it to my husband, but got a blank look. I still probably will talk to the dealer about it. I was told that they have all ready sold 11 of them. And as for the big hoop - well - jacket backs, the entire quilt square and sew sew much more. Congratulations! and have fun.

I wasn't so good, as my hubby's a doll! But I guess I don't spend any more on my sewing a year as people do playing golf? But I DON'T get the exercise golf gives you, unless you count walking around and around the fabric stores!

Congratulations. It's not even for sale here and had to look at the US site to get a glimpse. Boy, that's something to save up for! That Majestic hoop is enormous, 360 x 340 mm, my largest one is 360 x 150. I wish you lots of sewing pleasure and please post one of those Majestic designs.

Congratulations! I have a BabyLock BMP 6 with a giant hoop and do all sorts of things with it. From denim jacket backs and quilting to wall hangings. There are all sorts of applications for a big hoop. Run over to someplace like Emblibrary or BFC-creations and look at their large field designs... then look at Emblibrary's showcase page. There are so many inspiring projects archived there by users it will make your head spin! Have Fun! Silver
