Very lovely, did you create the journal cover or is it a purchased design?
I made the cover myself on my regular sewing machine. The lighthouse design is from Embroidery Library. Thanks for looking
Really good design and idea. Keep up the good work. :)
I like Emb Library designs. The ones I have stitched always came out great. Some are very dense though and you must stabilize well, although this one was not. I ironed Pellon 809 onto mt front cover and then just hooped the front. No other stabilizer was required.
Love the design and the idea of the journal cover. always there to inspire, thanks.
Ah, how sweet of you to say. Once in a while, my light comes on-lol-I mean, I get an idea and I always want to share it with all of my Cuties. Thank you-Toogie
beautiful.
Thank you missqueenbee47. I see your avatar is a light house. Did you draw it? Maybe you're from around a coast, either way, it looks good. -Toogie
I love it. Great design for a journal. Your gifts will be a big hit!
I hope so mops. When I read your comment to me the other day, made me think of this curtain panel. I knew I was keeping it for just the right project! Thanks-Toogie
Beautiful and very well combined. You have an excellent taste and the person which will receive this gift will be very happy! Thank you for
sharing! Maria
This is a nice project! I can think of times when I've been traveling and in the evening I had nothing to do except watch tv. So I think next time I'll start a jounal and can write in it during the evening! Good work!
It looks great and perfect for your trip. When I went to Creative Machine Embroidery, I saw that the chapstick / USB holder key fob is still free there (when I posted in your other thread about gifts, I could only find it on the vendor site for $$). Thought I'd share in case you haven't nabbed it.
Supper idea for the traveler
I thought so too, especially time to write on those roads with nothing to see or in your hotel room, after a good hot bath.
I love the lighthouse you have chosen for your journal. it looks real nice.
Great job Toogie. I think your friends will love it. Hugs
Great work Toogie, love the design. Looks terrific. Sandra.
Thank you Sandra, I'm stitching the third one as I write.....I need to find that other curtain.....
Looks terrific! Grest choice of design for your trip to Maine.
I was lucky to run across it in my files. I always download even if, at the time, I have no use for it. I'm glad you like it and I thought it fit in with the trip/place too. Thanks-Toogie
WOW that is lovely.. and as someone else said very professional looking. Color matching pen a nice touch also..
The pen was my SIL's. He took a nap on my sofa and my grandson found it. I said wasn't mine, but SIL said just keep it. So it came in handy here. (Sure glad ink didn't get on my sofa.) Thanks for looking-Toogie
Everything I used was what I had on hand, except for the composition book fifty cents @ Walmart.
Oh that is so nice and professional looking. What type of fabric did you use? On the close up it looks as though it could be a Canvas weave looks perfect for the project.
I'm not sure of the fabric content. This was some curtain panels I got for $1. each. I have made three out of one panel. Several times I almost made totes with this fabric. I'm sure glad now that I didn't. Thanks -Toogie
So lovely and light, it's an excellent choice. Love Chris
