Lillian, so sorry y'all had a bad day.... I hope y'all we be much better soon.
I pray you are better. You must be so proud of your quilt! I am so happy for you!
My best wishes for fast healing and congratulations on your win!
Hugs, Lidia
Oh boy my friend what next will you do?Try to fly lol???
Slow down ***i am not the one to being saying this but******please be careful ***
Happy about your first prize ribbon hugs
Lillian, please rest as much as you can, and look after yourself. I know that is easier said than done, but you are very important. Try not to run when you hear those thuds. My husband is still mobile but has very bad balance and tends to fall and I find myself half way to where the sound came from before I even realise I have heard it.
Congratulations on your well deserved Blue Ribbon
Exactly! Refiex action You don't stop to think Gonna have to from now on. Thanks/Lillian
Sorry to hear of your mishap. Hope you will be feeling better soon. Glad Ron is OK. Hugs Shirley
Oh, Lillian...what a day and an ordeal you have had...but my darling, you need to take care of yourself too...what would Ron do if something would happen to you...so slow down and be careful...and congratulations on taking first place for Abby's quilt...
I try Kim but when I hear him hit the floor like I did I lose all my good judgement. I simply must remember 10 seconds in not going to make any difference and get there a little slower. I'm realizing more ache and pains than yesterday so I wonder what new bruise tomorrow will show..I simply cannot fall like this again. Thank you for thinking of me
Congratulations on the Blue ribbon but very sorry to hear the rest of your news. So dear DO take care
Oh, my my. After the hurt and fright have left, you sure are going to have a good laugh about this for a while. Right now it's not funny at all. Sure hope your pain and swelling go down quickly. Take a deep breath and thank God for watching out for you.
Well I'm looking and feeling pretty bad right now. I am thankful for no broken bones. I've never in my life had a black eye and now I have 2. Thank you for caring/Lillian
I am so sorry to hear this, what a day. I hope you heal quickly and can rest a bit during the day, altho I think you really need more than a few snatches.
Congrats on the blue ribbon! That must have brought a smile on your face.

Thanks Martine. I of course did not get to go. Our Club Pres took my entries and then brought them back to me. Got first with a crocheted circular vest and since they had a photography section this yr I entered some pics. Got a Blue Ribbon on one of the pics too. In all 7 ribbons, 3 first and the other 4 were 2nds
Oh my goodness, what an awfully difficult day you have had! I am sorry that you have fallen & hurt yourself. Lillian you are both in my prayers & hope that you can have a much needed break, sounds very much like you need one.
Congrats on the blue ribbon, well deserved! ~hugs & Prayers~
oh my dear, I'm so sorry this happened, prayers and a lot of hugs/love are coming your way.
You scare me! But then i can't yell at you because I would do the same thing. All I can do is tell you to be careful and I know you already are careful. It's just plain hard to be the only caregiver. And cheers for you. First place and a blue ribbon. High Five for such good news. Will we get to see a picture of the quilt and blue ribbon some day?
Her quilt is in Projects, Karen. The sunbonnet quilt for her great or grand daughter, so pretty.
Oh Lillian. What a thing to happen. Just take things as easy as you can and try to rest. Hugs to you both Sarah
I am so sorry you both fell. I will say an extra prayer for you today. I wish you would go get checked.... Gentle hugs for you dear friend.
I am not surprised that you won. Your work is always beautifully done! Congratulations!
Thanks dear BP in normal range today. No N/V. Eyes accommodating correctly(according to daughter) soooo think I'll be OK but back is yelling at me as well as mY head
Now whose a hard head? I can understand at the time you couldn't leave Ron, but when your daughter got there...........................I do wish you had more help with him. At least, someone to stay a few hours a day, so you could leave the house to run errands, get your hair done or just get some fresh air.
Yea! Hip hip hooray for Lillian! Blue ribbon, first place, WOW! I knew it was a winner, and Cutie could have told you that. Congratulations! Take care of yourself, I know you will of Ron.Toogie
Oh! dear Miss Lillian, I too, like Meg was upset when reading your post. I do hope that the bruising goes fast, I can guess what you look like as my Mum looked like that a few weeks ago after her eye surgery. I pray that you and Ron will heal as quickly as possible. No more running! Love Chris
Woman I can see I'll have to hop on a plane and come take care of you!!!
If only I could. :-(
My heart jumped into my throat when I read your post!!! Please dear friend, take better care of yourself. How would Ron manage if anything happened to you?
Sending prayers for a speedy recovery and steadier feet so it won't happen again. hugs n kisses, xxxxx M
Oh goodness!! Prayers from TN for quick healing for you! I know you know what to look for, so hope it's nothing serious. Congrats on the blue ribbon!!!! Wow!
Ice? Heat? You needed a Mama. I'm so sorry, especially for your pain. Just don't look in the mirror at those black eyes! Take care of you, too, not just Mr. Ron.
I am a terrible looking sight right now. What I can see. Can't wear my glasses and do not see all that well without them. Maybe that's a good thing. LOL
Miss Lillian not going to the ER when you had someone to take care of Ron may not be wise. Must be the nurse in you. If you are not well how can you take care of Ron? I really worry about you. You could have a concussion. OK that is enough scolding. Congratulation on winning 1st place. I will be praying for you and Ron. May you heal fast. Hugs/Angie
Thank you Angie. The way my head has hurt and still is I think I probably did have a concussion but all they would do is observe and I can do as much myself
I feel for you, I'm helping my parents, it takes a lot of time. But please look after yourself, I will keep you in our prayers. Do you have anything for the bruising? My friends 6 ft 6 ins son fell down the stairs and was badly bruised and they used a product for horses called Rapigel. (not near the eyes). We use it now for our aches and pains including nerve pain.
