Hi Cuties, I need some help please. I downloaded designs from my computer to my usb - I made sure there weren't many on the stick which is a 256 and I had deleted quite a few designs on there. Anyway when I tried to open them on my sewing machine - nothing showed up. So I put it back into computer and the designs all showed up! I am perplexed I have the designs on a 230x255 hoop. What am I doing wrong? I'm at Amy's till after 6.00pm and won't be home till around 6.30. Hopefully someone else can help me. I have them all in PES as it's the Brother machine. The designs are from Stitch Delight and I've never experienced this before. Any and all suggestions gratefully accepted. Luv Chris

Good morning everyone, found out the problem the design was TOO LARGE - I had put it into a 230x255 hoop but when I looked on the computer it was showing as a 300x200 - so I have changed to a smaller size hoop and voila it worked!

~Thanks for all your help! Love Chris

Don't you hate that when it happens! I had it with my dongle for my digitising programme this week, Both my computers would not recognise the dongle, so I was panicking, wrote to Bernina support got a very nice answer back today with some suggestions to try. Well I thought to try one more time before downloading supplement and guess what!!!! It worked without any problems. Hopefully you will find a solution soon!

USB sticks can be fickle sometime. I would also take off the designs that you are not needing at present, then your machine will not have to work quite so hard. You will probably find that it will work tomorrow!!!!

Hmmm...strange for sure...I would try what Gerry has suggested...take everything off the USB stick...then I would only put one or two back onto the USB and give it a whirl...the other thing I would do is to try another USB stick and see if that one will show the designs on the machine...hopefully it is the USB stick and not the machine....

I have had the same problem ( brother machine also) the only thing I could think of was to copy the designs back to the computer.so the usb stick was empty again, and I copied the designs I needed to the usb once more and it worked. Hope this will work for you too.

my brothers won't accept designs in a folder, you have to put them on seperately....wendy

Do they need to be in a particular folder on the stick for the machine to find them?

Not normally Sue, I'll try them just straight on their own and not in a folder and see how that goes. Love Chris
