OK, this is what happens when you don't use the right stabilizer........I stitched right on the stabilizer, but you can see the design started to separate around the wash board.......YIKES.......when I have time, I want to stitch again with fabric and frame it for my laundry room.......this one is called Laundry Room and will be up on my website tonight......

Oooooo, I like this design very much. I have a little washboard hanging in my laundry room as a decoration. This would go nicely.

Oh gosh! Brings back memories of using a washboard when I was a kid. Could you please explain more about the weight of stabilizer you used and what weight you think it should have been? While I stitch right on the wss stabilizer, I never thought to stitch on other types. Might be a good way to test for thread colors.

Yes, I used 2.0 oz cutaway, I should have used 2 pieces...
