I agree -- what a great idea and thanks for sharing! This is another reason to make zippered bags. What a treasure of ideas Cuties have!
Lovely idea. I am just getting my GD a sewing machine for Christmas. I think we are going to have to make a bag (no embroidery) for her bits and pieces.
I keep my sewing machine feet in a plastic ice cube tray. They fit across the drawer next to the machine. I write the foot's ID on the plastic and can see in a second who is missing.
This zip bag you'd made looks delightful& nice work on the font too. Thanks for sharing it. :~D
Love this big time. Having the name of the machine on the bag even makes it more important. Great job.
Awesome idea!!!Will for sure make mine one like that...I have Innovis 4000...Gorgeous
What a great idea. "Nora's feet" will fit nicely into that lovely bag. :)
My family loves to make fun of me for "labeling" things, but it helps me stay organized.
I keep an small open container for mine, handy by my machines. As my feet are interchangeable, I don't have all of them out, so I was thinking I need to make me some bags like this.
I like to be organized too and family always like to make good fun of mom. Mine do it too, especially my youngest.
Good idea, There was a book called "I love sewing with my Feet" sound funny.
Great idea as the bag those bits would have come in is just not up to the task of surviving being handled all the time.
I keep my bits in a small rectangular ice cream container (hubbie says he eats all the ice cream so I can have the containers) but this looks so much nicer.
I didn't know ice cream was actutally bought in small containers....lol..my hubby makes 4 and a half gallons at one time!
I too, keep mine in a small plastic container handy by machines. Thanks
Hi Toogie---Great project. At first my eyes stopped at 'Nora's feet' I thought Whaaaaat! Of course we should really read the whole thing. Just struck me as funny----storing Nora's feet. Great project my friend.
She does have tiny feet, but I don't think she can get them in here!-lol-Thanks for looking-Toogie
Oh wonderful idea and how you carried out for your granddaughter. I am sure Nora will love sewing and more for a life-time. She's really lucky to have you as her grandma. Happy sewing - Maria
I'm the lucky one Maria, thanks. We all went together somewhere last night. When we got back, we helped get the children in. We told them by and went out to leave. I remembered I had left my purse on Avery's wheelchair. I knocked on the door to retrieve it, and Nora had already teared up to cry, saying she missed Gram!-lol-it had only been a few seconds. I don't know how we will survive 11 days apart!-lol
Great idea. She is one lucky little girl to have such a great Gram. Hugs Shirley
Aw Shirley, I am the lucky one, but she may agree with you. She tells her mom she loves 'Gram' all the time, her mom said. I told her mom she tells me too.
great job, love the ith bags.
Thanks. My daughter that just got an emb machine did 1 ITH bag and was hooked. She hasn't had her machine long and has made,I don't know how many, cute bags. I told her I was so proud of her!
Great idea and I know she will love having her own little purse with all the goodies inside it. Well done Grandma! Love Chris
