Hi Cuties, this is for my daughter. She brought me this foral/paisley material, to make her bag and I used the green & white fabric I had, for the lining and pulls.
I thought I would get back to sewing today, but my heart (and mind) were elsewhere. I forgot to put any inside pockets! Oh well, maybe I will be excused for any mistakes. (I also had forgot to put the D-Ring tabs before the zipper, however,I just had to rip an inch or so, for each tab............)

EDIT-I watched television for a while, then came back and ripped the lining open, so I could sew the inside pockets in. You probably knew, I couldn't leave it.
EDIT AGAIN-It's worse than I thought and none of you kind Cuties said a word! Look at the monogram in my file, (last photo). I put it on my card and took it to the machine.How did it embroider the R so far away?
It's too early for bed, but I think I'm going, so when I wake, maybe it will be a better day..................

It is lovely and I can understand exactly what you are saying as I would do just what you did. Now, taking out the emb that is another story, I would have to talk myself into taking out emb and if had enough fab would make a new one and put it on.
From the lady who hates to take out emb on something that just cannot have a hole picked in it...;-)

This looks every bit as nice as"the famous maker" bags!!
The R is a little further away but not noticably and I don't think ripping it out would make that much of a difference--But, me being me, I would have to rip out the entire monogram and start over--might as well make a whole new bag!

So I'm not the only one who isn't happy until it's perfect. Lol. No one but we sewers would notice it's off a hair. If you don't put it out they wouldn't notice. Trouble is we know. Eh? We are sisters in ripping.

Right now i am ripping out the machine quilting on a quilt I am making for my sister. it was about half done and I just didn't like how it was looking--boy are there ever some tinystitches. good that I have a nice new sharp ripper!!

It has a zipper pocket on the front with a slip pocket directly behind. Then it has a zip pocket on back. Thanks-Toogie

It depends on how many hours you have in a day!- lol- I sewed on this one a little at each time, so it took days. The one before this one ( the black and white) I cut out and made the same day, but I didn't have to cook, babysit or anything else that day

Well, like the Cutie below said we think the S moved. I still can't understand how it moved, because I loaded it on my card, like the photo at the bottom.
21044It's lovely despite the extra work involved. PS, I think it's the centre S which moved a little and not the R. Don't be worried, you will be the only one who can see it.
