I think that making a crazy patchwork item makes the stash grow!!
I made a bag out of red & white only fabrics some years ago. By the time I had finished it there was so much red & white fabric piled up that I could have made another 3 or 4 bags. And I did not buy anything but a new sewing machine in the middle of it.
That quilt is gorgeous. Great idea and well done. Would love to be one of your grands, any day. :-)
Oh my goodness. And I thought I had a lot of scraps. Great way to put them to use. Were the quilt blocks machine appliqued or sewn manually?
Great use of fabric stash, well done very colourful. Sandra.
What a wonderful idea. The result is such a great one. I can just see the grands looking it all over. Good job.
This is great! It will probably be something the grands fight over when it comes time to "divvy up" grandmother's things. LOL Beautiful work!!
I've been contemplating doing one of these for years. By now, I probably need to do a dozen. Yours turned out so nicely and I love the "I Spy" concept. Just wish I had some grands. Well done and thanks for the inspiration.
Wonderful!! Love it and so creative. Bet the kids really love the I spy ga e with you/Lillian
Great idea. I'll bet your grands can't wait to come play I Spy with you.
That is beyond smart.. Love it.
I have spent the week photographing my scraps and labeling the boxes so I know which has what when I hunt it. Know that sounds crazy...Now to be creative like you. ;-)
what a wonderful way to use up some stash fabrics! What a fun quilt, well done ~hugs~
How creative is that !!! A very beautiful "one off" and a "see and learn" time with your grands. This surely will be remembered as they grow older and look back on their childhood. Thank you for sharing.....Ann
Oh this is very colourful. I'm sure its difficult to get the grandchildren to sleep when they come to stay as there is so much to see. Very pretty
Good idea for a stash reducer, love the idea and you did great job!
How lovely. I have so many things that run through my head and not do them. Guess I am a thinker and not a do-er most of the time. I love that I can see all these finished projects.
Definitely a good way to use up some of your fabric stash. Love the idea of the I Spy quilt and I am sure it must be a big hit with your grandchildren.
Great job. I think at night fabric multiplies. Thanks for sharing your quilt
