Trying my hand at something else. The elephant is an order and the blue one (my favorite) is a present.Second picture is the back of the elephant bag. I have never tried stippling before and I am pleased with the result.

Thank you. I cannot say I did the stipple freehand. It was an embroidery design which I have had for ages.

3228Good job on both bags. I always do some sort of quilting (stippling or grid design) on the back of the bag. It gives it so much more character.

318426Very nice zip bags. I have made similar bags and used the stippling for either one or both sides. That makes the finished bag more stiff and feels sturdy.
Love the strip piecing on the blue bag. I can see why it's your favorite. Well done.
