i agree with the majority that the white towel with the black stitching shows up the best. Kay
I like the white with black design but other colors would be great too. Bright or pale colors would look good on the black.
I like the black on White..... but I wonder what a red towel with white or black on it would look like... or even green with red....since it's Christmas time soon.... hehe
Great job Towel Queen.
Love the black with white. Got the design. Thanks for link.
I have to go with many other Cuties, and say the black on white. But oh wouldn't silver and red be beautiful on the black towel too?
Carolyn , I like both . I tried the link, but no luck getting this design.
Black on white is beautiful -- that's the way I would go.
i think black oin white my first choice then white on black but both are beautiful
They are both lovely, but if I had to choose, I would go for the black on white, it really pops!
I like both Carolyn, but as suggested below nice and bright threads would also look great on the black towel. Sandra.
think I'll vote for White background, black stitching in this case. But sometimes the opposite is exactly right for a particular design.
Lets see----um---this is hard. I like both of them. Sorry Carolyn---you've done a great job with both and what can I say---I like them both.
I prefer the black on white - it really pops. I think sliver gray would look great on the black towel. Just my opinion. They both are very pretty.
The Black on White stands out a bit better, maybe a bright colour would look better on the Black towel.. either way I love the design.
I like both of them. But if I had to pick one, I would opt for the black on white.
They're both gorgeous, but I'm kinda leaning toward the white on black! Hugs*, Deb
they are both great but I can see the black on white a lot better due to these aussie sore eyes
I like the black on white as you can see the entricate details of the design better. I'l like to see the white on black done with gold or silver thread instead of white. I think it would be very dramatic. If it is just for show, metallic thread!
I really like how you chose such a large design for this towel. The design choice is soft enough that the whole towel can be used without any stiffness. Well done!
I am neutral.......I love both looks for different reasons...to me the white on black is elegant, the black on white dramatic......
Great job...looks like Black on White is winning the poll...that gets my vote, too!
I have to say black on white. I don't see well so the white on black is not very visible to me, white spots on black. The suggestion of lime green or even neon orange for a pumpkin might work.
I like the white thread onto the black towel. Being a Christmas design, I would use a red thread onto the white towel and also the black one. The red colour is a happier colour for Christmas, This is what I would do :)
Hugs, Lidia
The black on white certainly POPS Carolyn, but........ I have just switched over to using black hand towels and I'm loving them, they never look grotty like lighter coloured towels tend to, regardless of how well you wash or bleach them!
I even have black hand towels in my bathroom and I no longer care if they match the decor. LOL!!
Only thing I do is use really vivid red thread or bright turquoise, lime green etc. when I embroider them. I've started really loving red accents. hugs n roses, M
Love them both.. however, I would pick the white with black thread even thought the thought of the black not showing dirt as much. Another concerned with black and deep red colors is the bleeding when washed. I know this doesn't happen always but it has happened with both colors for me and price ranges on both ends. Sorry really don't intend to sound a downer, just a thought.
Hi Carolyn, fabulous job as always.
For my preference I'd say the black towel with the the white stitching. I agree with "kingmar" . It's better to have a dark towel when wiping hands. Saying that, the black thread on the white towel really stands out and looks striking!
I think that design in any colour would look stunning on white. What about your Purple thread, that would look awesome too?
Love Chris
I just looked at your number and it was 308 308 when I clicked on this post!!! Great job
I like the Black on white the best. Some will prefer the white on black. Would like to see Bright ( Fire Engine Red) on black I think that would look good.
They both look great. Whoever receives them will be thrilled. Personal preference would be the black on white. I think the design stands out better. But.... the black towel won't show dirt from partially washed hands! Decisions, decisions!
Lovely design .I like the black stitching on white.
