glad you were able to go pay your last respect to your Auntie.. Good new too that hubby is doing better too.
Glad you were able to get to the service. Sounds though you have a good Dr. for your husband and glad he is getting better
Thanks. I was glad to be ble to get to the service. She is the last of my Aunts. Hubby is quite happy with this doctor. Has to go back next week for a check. Hugs
It is good that you were able to go to the service. More good news about the confidence the doctor has. You have my best wishes and prayer.
I am pleased for you that you managed to get to the funeral. I am sorry for the loss of your aunt. Hugs Sarah
I am sure that your dear Aunt would understand your conflict with your husbands appointments. What a blessing to live a long life and pass easily in your sleep. ((Hugs)) for the loss you are feeling. Hoping that the fond memories you have with her will help to ease the aching in your heart at this time. I do hope that the doctors can help to get your husbands leg situation improved as well as getting the 3 skin cancers taken care of. The leg situation can be a scary situation and best not to be taken lightly. Prayers that all the medical staff and doctors will have inspiration and insight into how they can best help your husbands body. Pam
I was able to make the service while hubby was having the skin cancers removed. He said it would take about 45 minutes so I excused myself and hurried to the service just before the family went into the chaple. It was a lovely service and I was so pleased I could make it. I did not get to the graveside as it was time to go pick up hubby. He has to go back next week for a check. Hugs Shirley
My sympathy goes to you and your family, on the sad loss of your dear Aunt, She did reach a memorable milestone, and will be fondly remembered by all I am sure. Sad you could not be there, I hope you have some good news about the leg, and the skin cancer removal goes well. My husband has similar issues at the moment, so I know what you are going through. Brighter days ahead. Sandra.
Thanks Sandra. The skin cancer removals went well and got a reasonable report on his leg. I was able to manage to get to my Aunts service which I was thrilled about. Hugs Shirley
Condolences Shirley & best wishes for Hubby. Your Auntie must have seen so many changes in her life time & had many stories to tell. RIP
Irene
Thanks Irene. Auntie had lots of stories she could have told us today but 1 day would not have been enough time to tell them all. Hugs
My prayers are with you both Shirley, my deepest sympathies, ~hugs~
I'm so sorry you didn't get to say a formal goodbye to your beloved Aunt. But thank goodness you were able to be with your hubby. My prayers are added for you and your hubby during this trying chapter.
Many thanks. I was able to be with both as things turned out. I am sure your prayers had something to do with it. Hugs
Think of all the wonderful years you have had with her! That is amazing and I hope you got some of those long-life genes. Set aside a time of quietness to remember your times with her. I hope you had great success with the medical folks today.
Thanks. Please see my answer to asterixsew below. I have many happy memories of her and her late husband as well. Hugs
What a great age your aunt was. Will think about you today as you cannot be in two places at once. Hope all goes well with your husband
Thanks for thinking of me. I was very fortunate as hubby,s appointment was 15 minutes before the service. I was able to speak with the specialist and he said to continue with the treatment on his leg. Said it was looking a little better. I asked how long it would take to remove the skin cancers and he said about 45 minutes. So I left hubby there and made it to the funeral place jist before the service started. I am sure the Lord was with me as I really wanted to be there. Hugs
So sad for your loss....but she lived a long life...
It is a sad loss. She was a wonderful lady. She was ready to go. We have so many happy memories of her to treasure. Hugs
