Hey cuties: am in need of assistance to make a donation. I think that this is a wonderful venture; but I am hesitant to use paypal plus I have not used paypal. I seem to have a mental block when it comes to this type of thing.. As I live in USA, does paypal convert dollars to euros? I would really like to make a donation but am very naive when it comes to making a payment on line. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you. DebB
Paypal converts what ever currency you are sending to the Country. I am in Australia and if I buy a design for $5 USA it will tell me I am sending $5 USA and it is costing me $6.46 Aust. It varies as to what the exchange rate is at the time. You also have a chance to change your mind and cancel the transaction.
It is the safest way to pay online and if there is a problem you have something like 180 days to put in a complaint. I find only reputable sites seem to use Paypal as they are strict. I would never use my credit card online. Hubby did and we had all sorts of dramas and purchases we din't authorize.
This is wonderful! I somehow missed till now. You are a loving, generous, inspiring, creative person. We all love you and thank you!! May our Lord bless your every effort! God bless all the hospice folks and the people they minister to.
I really do not have to write anything. I think you are a bloody marvel.
I have had feedback today that the Facebook Group members have donated over £400 to the hospice. We now have 560 members and have existed for 9 weeks.
Martine has very generously donated her lovely rose design which I have just uploaded to the group files.
Absolutely stupendous outcome Sue both in terms of the success of the entire project by way of its membership and the funds raised to date. Also, how kind of Martine for her most generous donation. Keep up the good work.
With your talent you should not be surprised Sue! I'll have to search for the link but I love FB groups a lot better than yahoo.
Sue, You are creative and inspiring. Thank you for the work that you do, both your digitizing and for using your skills to bring donations into your local hospice organization. --Sharon
What a great venture you have undertaken...thank you for adding me to the group, BUT...I need to know which donation link will take PayPal...I would like to make my donation...Thanks!
Sue, I pray blessings on your new venture. I'm so proud that I know loving, caring, generous people like you. You certainly don't "hide your talents under a basket" and for that so many are grateful. Engineered hugs to you! lol
Fantastic.. Hope this venture proves financial for your hospice. Will apply tonight.. Marian
Wish I could give you more than one flower, this is a great organization to help thosein need.
You are wonderful Sue. Since my Ron is under hospice here at home in the states I have come to realize what a blessing they are/Lillian
You are such a remarkable lady Sue! I know it will be a success group and I am want to join it also. I already click the button join group, just now.
Many blessings!
Yoriko
This is great! Hospice is a blessing and for you to provide a donation place is wonderful. My aunt and uncle were Hospice workers and several of my family members have been in Hospice care...So much love!
I am in many closed embroidery groups on Facebook and have enjoyed them in general. All the best in your new venture! I'm sure you'll have 1000 members soon. Onward! Congratulations, Joan
Great Sue. I cannot find it on face book. I am not very bright when using face book as it is not my thing. I have put Engineered in Stitches in the search box but yours does not come up. Don't know what i am doing wrong. Hugs Shirley
I don't know what is wrong. If you send me a Facebook message, I may be able to help that way.
Here's a direct link to Sue's Facebook group. Hope it helps!

What a wonderful thing to do. You are so talented with your digitizing and I am sure lots of people will join and contribute. Sorry to say I don't do FB, Instagram, twitters or any of those other things. I do not understand them--I'd love to Skye my grand and great-grands but my husband says we have too slow of internet. I live in a very rural farming area and the locals keep telling us our county has no extra funds to replace old wiring, roadway work etc. Shows I watch on t.v. in all the remote places have wifi and signals like you wouldn't believe but my area in the U.S. nope. I know the Hospice unit will be so appreciate of your fund raising for them. You are one grand girl!
I sympathise. I too live in a rural area. We have no mobile phone coverage at all and the broadband can be very hit and miss.
You are wonderful to do this! I think of all the people that will be blessed by this. Doing the math -- it boggles the mind.
WOW! what a generous gal you are Sue and this will certainly be a wonderful way of keeping doing what you love. You are so creative and talented.
I love the idea of giving to the local hospice they are a wonderful bunch of people who care for you at your life's end. Kudos to you and I pray and hope that your membership continues to grow. God bless you for all you do. Love Chris
I have joined your group but not yet downloaded anything - great idea on how you can share your talents and help others too!
Wow! That is a wonderful idea.......prayers for your new venture.
What a wonderful solution. You continue to spread joy to others with your lovely designs as you bring joy to yourself in creativity and add further blessings by helping a wonderful group who helps so many others. I'd call that Win, Win, Win, Win!
I too, have not been able to find this on Facebook. I searched pages and groups. Not sure what else to try.
I did a copy and paste, but it didn't work the first time. This time it brought it right up. I don't understand, but thanks for getting me to try again.
You've touched my heart with this Sue. Hospice is one of my "things" and recently they were there for a dear friend, that I miss so much, and so grateful for her comfort, to the end. I will be joining. Thank you.
Great idea. I hope you get lots of donations. . I am not on Facebook for personal reasons so will miss trying out your lovely designs, but I am sure it will work out really well for you.
When you discover how much money has been raised, add a little extra.
I donated without mentioning Engineered in Stitches, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Will this put pressure on you to create more designs?
Jo
This is a sweet idea Sue. I put in a request to join your group. When my Father was so sick with cancer many years ago, Hospice helped us to keep him home and care for him there. They also made a huge difference in caring for my dearest Aunt Tess as she was passing. Now, playing it forward, one of my brothers volunteers for Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. Thank you and bless you! Laura*
A great solution to still create and make a difference in the world. Good luck.
Jo
Wonderful...and the main reason I do not sell my designs as well...wishing you much success and needed funds for the hospice...
You continue to amaze and be so generous.......what a wonderful idea!!! The world is so blessed and is a better place with people like you in it!
Congratulations! May your venture be blessed as it blesses others.
Congratulations on this great way of sharing your designs.
I commend you Sue upon taking this most charitable step and am delighted to see that your membership has increased so dramatically since last we communicated on the subject. I do hope that the news from the Hospice charity will be equally rewarding.
A wonderful thing you are doing for charity, I found it on face book looked at join in but was unsure what to do. I have never used face book before. I hope you will allow us time so I can get one of my boys to help me with this. Tanks you. m Sandra.
