I say to set it aside until you come up with a use. Some times I solve dilemmas in my sleep. Kay
As is my friend. You have gotten lots of suggestions, now let's see what you make of this beautiful piece/Lillian
This is absolutely gorgeous Carolyn! As the others have said, I would not cut around it. If it were me, I would make a number of these and turn them into a very elegant quilt!
WoW that is lovely. Do not cut it out. Fabric around it makes it a wonderful center piece for whatever you choose to use it for. Love it.
Beautiful design...Make block!!!Can also be used for doily....Put non-fray round edge!!!Then cut
I think that reverse applique would frame this nicely if you used a dark fabric. I also think it'd make a nice apron top. I'd use a contrasting binding on the apron top, or cut it down if it is too big as is.
Drive safely and will pray for you.
That's a really beautiful design. You could do a reverse applique with it or just leave it as it is.
I'm praying for John's eye right now.
Beautiful stitch out, Carolyn...I would not cut around it...If I wanted it to be a free standing mandela, I would have done it on WSS and cut away the outer fabric around it before the last satin stitch border stitched...
Carolyn, this is gorgeous, I would leave it as it is. Good Luck to John at eye appointment. Drive careful.Hugs Lynn
Stunning design and well sewn out Carolyn. I agree with everyone to leave as it is. Maybe make a pillow like Angie has suggested, or back it with felt and use it as a doily. Beautiful! Love Chris
If it were me I wouldn't cut it off & make it square it is beautiful like it is. I love it.
Its lovely .I was just looking at this design in her newsletter, wishing I could zoom in to get a better look at it,now I can thanks to you.
I wouldn't try cutting around it personally because I would manage to snip a thread ,wrecking all the hard work.Maybe use it on a bag.
What size did you do & how many stitches in it?
It is beautiful. Somehow I can visualize this as a pillow. Well done
Carolyn, it is a lovely stitch out, not sure what you want to do with it. However would look nice cut out doily as it is a nice shape. Drive safely\, good luck to John. Sandra
Hi Carolyn.
the design is very pretty, well done.
My suggestion is to keep it in a square, it will look fantastic as a doily!
Merry Christmas and hugs.
