very nice! Would you mind sharing the fonts names?
Thanks Pasokan, the names of the True Type fonts I used to digitise each (name) are as follows:
Brylie is Madison
Hannah is Prestige Script
Liana is Diana Script
Mikynlie is Hobo Script
Nash is Block New

Ahh that's got to be Fred Astaire tapping on Nash. Love these Meg. I need to do a couple for my Great Grand. Hugs/Lillian
Thank you dear friend. Yes Fred was a freebie I collected some time ago, not very well digitised I'm afraid, it didn't have any stitching where the shirt fronts are, but it only took a couple of minutes to add some so that the fabric colour wouldn't show through. It all looks effective and my friend loved it, so that's all that matters.
hugs n love, xxxx
Super designs Meg, stitched beautifully. Well done The shoe bag are terrific. Sandra.
Are these for Rada's grands Meg? They have turned out beautifully. Love ❤️ Chris
No Chris they're for my bowling friend Terrie, we've been bowling buds for about 18-20 years or so. I pick her up and drop her back home every Tuesday night.
Her GK's are awesome dancers and Nash and Brylie do tv commercials and advertising brochures they're gorgeous looking kids and it was a real pleasure for me to do these. xxxxx
great work, love the shoe bags christmas can come . . .hugs Maria
How cool, Meg.....I like the little carnations on the tux's......great job!!
Thanks Vicki. I only digitised the text and the Jaz - ballet dancer for Liana, the rest were freebies from here and there. XXXXX
Love the shoe bags, also the designs, they really stitched nicely. I am always having issues with my stabilizers. but am learning a lot from the cuties. Thanks for sharing, also your experience. hugs
Thanks CPM.
I think there is always something to learn with embroidery, it's all part of the challenge that gets us involved and keeps us coming back for more. LOL!!!
Nicely done...I am sure they will be loved and well used, too!
I see what you mean on Nash, how the feet are placed just right on the letters. Very smart of you Meganne. I have been needing to stitch a ballerina on bath towel but just haven't found a ballerina just right. I like how you stitched these in pink, not black.
Thanks Toogie the Freds just dropped into place when I digitised the text, it truly wasn't planned, just happened. :-)
The colours were chosen by my friend, they are the dancing school's colours of hot pink and a Royal blue, it's just a pity she also chose the fabric which I would have preferred to be cream or beige but she was thrilled with them.
If you're interested I can send you the"Liana" Jaz-ballet dancer as I digitised her myself, otherwise I could digitise any other ballerina silhouette you might like. Just drop me a line, any time. hugs n roses, Meganne
