Rachel, you are doing so well, how old are you sweetie? I have a grand daughter I want to teach sewing but she is not 3 years old yet. But I can wait for the happy event. I plan on buying her the first sewing machine at the end of this year... I love seeing what you can do.. keep showing us ok.

Wow! this is gorgeous and so beautifully stitched. I'm nearly 60 and have never been game to try applique, I'm so envious Rachel is doing such beautiful work so young. She's very lucky to be off to such a great start with a wonderful teacher. hugs n roses, M

This is wonderful Rachel. It's encouraging to see young people taking an interest in crafts rather than TV and video games etc. I suspect my some will become a bit crafty too one day. Let's see some more work, and would Rachel like to do something for the quilt?

Leah, I am sure that you will allow Rachel to continue to do wonderful work. Rachel - you have made a lovely appliqued bird and I know that your book bag will be very pretty. You keep up this good work and you will have to have your own sign on to post all your projects. If I could give you more than one flower - I would give you a bouquet myself. Hehehe! I love it. *4U
