Great job Toogie. I have had to make things for LSU also since my son n law has an aunt and cousins that live in La. When Ala. plays LSU in La my grand daughter and her family usually stay there at their home. I get to make gifts for them to take LOL I'll have to copy you on this cause I bet they would like this very much/Lillian
I'm sure they would. People always like anything that is their team related. I hope the lady I've made it for likes it as much in person as she did on the phone text. I guess I will find out Sunday afternoon!
nice job on the placing of that fabric.. big like from me :)
Great job! Where did you find that cute Fleur de Liz design? Kay
I dl it in 2013, but don't have where it is from. There is one at appliqueforkids.com on sale for $2. right now that looks like it. I didn't stitch the bar across this one, as it would have fallen across my tiger head.
Better yet Kay it's free at http://www.shop.dzgns.com Click on the free designs header and its on page 3.
I am a LSU FAN I lived there well I was born there. I love this. I do embroidery an love it. You said you made the bag then used material with LSU ON IT to make this.
Welcome to Cute, ladycajun! No, I purchased the bag and did use LSU fabric on it. I fussy cut it, as they say, to get it where I wanted the tiger and name to show.
How long have you been embroidering? I love most of the crafts, or at least the ones I can do-lol-
Watch your flowers grow as I am giving you your first. If you click on the flowers by someone's avatar/photo it adds to their flowers, we call it watering them. You do that as a way of saying you read the post, you like it, or just want to be nice and spread some flowers. You'll learn more as you go along. And we call ourselves Cuties! Stick around and show us something you embroidered-Toogie
Welcome, ladycajin. When you click on a cuties flower on the right side of the post, the green flower will turn orange. Glad you found us. Kay
Wow.... You've done an awesome job of this. The fussy-cutting was worth it as the LSU is perfectly placed. Love the leather look football too. Your work is so inspiring. --Sharon
Thanks Sharon, I did try to get the fabric just right. Thanks for welcoming Nae, too.
It came out good Momma!! But of course all your work is beautiful!! I need to get in my sewing room, lol, if I ever get a break. Love you!!
What a surprise to wake up to! Nice to see you on here, my child. Now lets see you post some of your work. I know you can make ITH zip bags....I didn't get to give you your first flower :( but here is your second :)
I'm learning how to work this. What's the flower for? I can actually say, you know more about this than me, I'm usually the one that tells you how to or where to go, lol.
You're so funny-When you read a post, you click on flowers by the names of all the Cuties, (that who we are called) that commented and the original post. Just a way of making someones flowers grow, see your flower number changes, when someone clicks it. Sharon/sjbrower clicked and now someone else, because you now have 4. Also, it helps you know what you already read or commented on, because when you click it is colored.
Nae wanted to welcome to the wonderful world of Cute that your marvelous mom discovered some years back. We are so glad to have you and I know how proud your mom is to see you here. . Welcome to our little corner of the worldd/Lillian
Nice job, Toogie...great idea for the football, too!
You did a good job in this, am sure your customer will be pleased.
She looked at the photos I sent and called me planning to pick it up Sunday afternoon. Seems they will be coming through this way, on their way, to a grand child's birthday. So I guess my timing was good.
You did a good job in this, am sure your customer will be pleased.
She did like it but hasn't picked it up yet as she lives pretty far away. She is coming through Sunday, so we will see.
very nice bag, I like the football what a good idea. beautiful work
Toggie, a super design you have done for this lady. I am sure she shall be thrilled with the result. I can see there will be more orders when she uses it with pride and shows all her friends. I hope you did not sell yourself short, as I know how much lovingly hard work you put into these bags. Sandra.
I didn't make this bag, I just embroidered it. I bought a bunch of these on clearance a few years ago. Thanks for your nice words.
I have no doubt that she will love this bag and use with a big smile and lots of pride. Kudos to you.
